Staff and service were extremely nice and great. The hotel was noticeably dated but had charm. The lobby seemed pretty standard.......until we got up to our room. The hallways are not air conditioned. The room seemed clean, until you began to pay attention to detail. Many stains were found on the couch, curtains, walls, and fixtures. All metal fixtures in the room had rust on them and there were also stains on the toilet and bath tub. Also, paint was peeling off the ceiling in the bathroom. Breakfast was complementary from 6-9 am. We went down only to find packaged cereals, microwaveable sandwiches, apples, muffins, toast, and coffee/juices. Not the typical American continental at highway hotels where there is usually a bigger spread. We arent unrealistic and dont expect perfection for a budget price, but this one was a bit much.
