We like Pensacola, especially the beach. We came this time for the air show on the navy base. There were just too many people, though, so next time we won't come when the Homecoming Show is there. We may still try to catch a practice on the base.

Beautiful beaches (esp away from main overbuilt area); Ft. Pickens; shady state & local parks with boardwalks & accessible paths; historic preservation, historic districts (North Hill, Seville Square area); lively downtown blending old & new.

Plan ahead if you want to rent a boat or book deep sea fishing. Be ready for heavier traffic toward Pensacola Beach rather than Perdido key. Downtown around Palafox is a great walk to food, drinks and the Bay.

As a tourist who absolutely loves walking on the beautiful beaches, it was a welcome sight to see the neighborhoods and experience a bit of life as a local. And the Mardi Gras parade was pretty incredible!

If you ever get a chance to see the blue angels homecoming definitely GO... we've seen the air show in san francisco but I didn't know that Pensacola is their home base... loved the air show..
"I love this place, the pool area, and everything surrounding it. The staff is very friendly and professional. There's nothing better than being treated with care and respect like a special guest. The rooms have everything you need for your stay and, most importantly, are very clean, the beds are spotless, and the room smells good. I loved the room decor, the details, the TV with apps (Netflix, Disney, etc.), and the laundry facilities and gym 🏋️♂️. Everything I'm looking for to have an amazing stay, feel at peace, and add value to my vacation.⛱️."
