We were not able to reach Holbox island and Blue Holbox on planned day, due to bad weather. No info from Hotel, but luckily I found out on my own. Called hotel and let them know we would be 1 day late. Upon arrival 1 day later, our booking was canceled. Room was avaliable, but price became a problem. First I got a "good pice", but hours after checking in I was asked to pay more. I felt cheated, as we had already moved into one of the bungalows. Rest of the stay was good.
Not sure if the electric system m is supposed to look like this?
On the of the local racoons defecating next to the pool. Was removed the next morning.

The bungalow rooms are very rustic. Old bathrooms w old tile but clean. Linens were nice as were bed firmness. Air conditioner just barely enough to keep room tolerable. Poor lighting unless you open all the wooden shades but not well lit at night. Great beachfront location convenient to walk to town and stores.
