This Lakefront property has a beautiful view of the Sunmoon Lake. Parking is located just a short walk down the street. Our room was facing the street not the lake but was comfortable.

The price is reasonable with incredible lake view. However, the room decoration is about 30+ years old. The breakfast is functional. The room is clean at least.

Staff are helpful and polite. Stayed in room with lake view and it was quiet and peaceful (on Friday night). Breakfast variety is plenty too. Hotel provided complimentary fireflies watching as it happened to be fireflies mating season. It’s just a short walk to get public bus to Taichung HSR station and catching ferry at pier. There’s free 2 hours bicycle rental. If you are there on non peak season, they can allow u to use it for a couple hours.

Very friendly and helpful staffs who made the stay acceptable. Location is great but somehow noisy (especially early morning with those super cars and motorcycles. Can't really argue..) Pity that the balcony was closed due to the thunderstorm and hotel had to close it out of safety concern or it will be nice to view the lake from that. Don't expect too much if you're a luxury/chic hotels MUST. It is an old hotel, but somehow very cozy and warm.

In general, for the price and quality, you are not going to find it fair at this hotel, they seriously have the worst and most uncomfortable bed I have ever sleep, it’s as bad as just sleeping like a homeless in a cardboard box, the AC isn’t working so the room become like a furnace at night. Cleanses is good, but as far as comfortable, you won’t find it here. You will have better luck at other hotels
