Cormorant Beach House was a welcoming shelter against the elements and a stark contrast to the bare infrastructure of the island. The hotel rooms are either directly facing the beach or if you’re on the second floor, it’s literally on the beach. The ocean view was absolutely gorgeous and the beach was not crowded at all. We loved going up to the rooftop terrace to enjoy breakfast. Hats off to the chef and his assistance for preparing our delicious breakfast and making us feel like we’re home....

The place is fantastic because the people who run it are so kind and accommodating....the rooms are spotless clean and modern and comfortable the people who run the place take hospitality to heart....I spotted this exotic tree with exotic fruits in the lovely garden in front of the hotel....I asked the lady what was that fruit she said guanabana....the next day after I got back from the tour the lady's daughter had guanabana peeled and sliced ready to eat for me in a bowl....the family who runs...

And the location is EXACTLY where you would want to be if this was your first time to Galapagos - right on the main strip of Charles Darwin Avenue with the bank, ATM, pubs, amazing restaurants to try, the fish market/wharf where you can watch seals and birds come right up looking for scraps - all within...

My wife and I traveled to Galapagos for the Thanksgiving week - our trip wouldn't have been as wonderful as it was if not for Yolanda and her wonderful family at Galapagos Pearl helping us out with everything from ferry tickets to restaurant recommendations. Highly recommended for a peaceful oasis just steps away from the main ave. Charles Darwin. Note: If using a taxi, easier to find "La Perla" than Galapagos Pearl.

We went during a week when tourism was slow and the hotel still was amazing with custom breakfast to make sure it fit our tour schedules. The cook came in at 6:30 am twice during the week just for us. Hotel was clean, safe and they did everything needed to ensure stay is good. Pool was nice as well on top. Rooms comfortable for family and groups even. Not by the port or Charles Darwin Ave but also close, walk was 10 minutes to beat food street and tourist area or taxi $1.50 which is easy to get....

I cannot say enough great things about this hotel. First I have to mention the staff: they were by far the friendliest, most accommodating, helpful hotel staff I have ever encountered. They went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and taken care of in any way possible, without being overbearing in the slightest.
