We had such an amazing stay at Hotel Angermeyer, I can't wait to go back. Everything was perfect - the staff was wonderful (thank you David and Maria for being so welcoming throughout our stay!). The restaurant was delicious with amazing sea views including sharks and seals, and we wound up eating several meals there. They were kind enough to pack us breakfast to-go on days when we had early excursions, and helped us call water taxis both early in the morning and when we stayed out late. The rooms were nice and big and had lovely amenities, and our turndown service was such a nice touch. If you are worried about the location not being on the main strip of town, don't be - it was always super easy to grab a $1 water taxi, and there was a nice beach a short walk away. Hotel Angermeyer can't be missed!

Wonderful time at the Angermeyer hotel. Staff was amazing and very helpful. Room clean and spacious. Breakfast, especially the daily changing juice and delicious coffee were spot on. Only thing we missed was an outside lounging area for sub bathing/chilling, other than the space in front of the office.

The staff members were great. The hotel is right next door to a popular restaurant, The Point, but the restaurant at the hotel, Eloise, was just as good if not better. The location is great to be able to visit Las Grietas and water taxis are readily available. We stayed in a suite with a king bed, and our only suggestion would be to upgrade the bathtubs or remove them completely. It was the perfect three-day stay otherwise.

Beautiful location and friendly staff

The situation of the hotel is amazing. Just across the water from the main harbour so you can only get there by water taxi. We loved sitting at the restaurant terrace watching all the marine life swimming by. You can also jump into the water by the hotel and go for a swim if you want to cool off. The staff are all so helpful and friendly, we couldn’t fault the service we received. Overall we would certainly recommend this hotel for anyone staying in Puerto Ayora.

This is how Paradise would be defined Garden of Eden with Darwin’s finches our companion for breakfast and fearless Pelican diving with dinner Panoramic views of the ocean and moonlit windy nights to cherish The staff were thoughtful and paid attention to every detail. They had a deep understanding and connection to Nature knowing what is needed to sustain this paradise The hearty fish stew and fresh mango juice I can still taste Mark’s memory will forever be etched with savoring the gingery Mojito every evening.
