"Awesome location, right where the action is, yet very quiet, by a beautiful park and some unique large statues. Split can be very crowded and touristy when loads of people disembark from very large cruise ships. Our room was very peaceful and the location was such that we could chose to be in touristy areas but also quickly find alleyways that took us to traditional restaurants and neighborhoods which are the real gems of Split. Highly recommend this place."
"Wish we were staying longer! The space was surprisingly spacious for old town Split. The AC worked beautifully and the location can’t be beat. Everything you could need was in walking distance. Everything was clean and we enjoyed it. I will say that it’s above a louder bar, but they shut down at like 11 and we closed the windows, so it wasn’t too bad. We’re younger so that didn’t bother us, but could see an older couple being annoyed at it."
"The air conditioned room was life saving due to the heat wave affecting Split while I was visiting. The terrace had an incredible view of the Old Town and was wonderful to sit on at sunset when it was cooled down outside. The bedroom and bathroom I had was very spacious as well. Toni our host went above and beyond to ensure our stay was incredible. He went so far to manage our luggage and escort us to a complicated ferry situation to get to Hvar. I have traveled frequently oversees with family. Toni treated us as if we here his family. The location could not be better to get a real feel of Split.
If you’re going to visit Split, you should consider just one place to stay. This place has it all. Location, great service, nearby parking, stunning views, and a staff that is beyond. Jan was a perfect tour guide and host. Ana was always there with great directions and a smile. The breakfast was lovely and ample. If I could give it 6 stars I would. This was my first time to Split, and wow, did I pick an incredible property. Honestly, the only con I can think of was that there are plenty of stairs, but otherwise, excellent! Comfortable bed, overlooks a courtyard, modern but in the backdrop of the old city. High tech with buttons for everything. Our say at this hotel was fantastic - great would be an understatement. The rooms are beautiful, welcoming, and perfect. The staff, well, they truly make the hotel even more of a fantastic place to stay. Extremely helpful, warm, friendly, and knowledgable, the staff really made our stay a memorable one. Good hotels have good rooms; great hotels have great staff. This is the only place to stay in Split, and even more so, in Croatia.
I will run out of superlatives to describe how well we were treated during our stay in this very lovely hotel. The hotel was right smack in the middle of the best plaza by the Palace. We were picked up by Mario from the airport and he also brought us to the airport when we left — and I cannot appreciate enough the fact the he walked so far just so that he can carry our bags for us, especially since I have elderly parents. We were very grateful to him.

3 night stay in this lovely boutique hotel. Great room that combined modern comforts in bedding, air conditioning (much needed in Croatian summer) and bathroom with ancient touches (exposed walls of old building). Staff also helpful and warm to a person--everyone we interacted with from the owner to the bellhop was friendly and engaging. Truly enjoyed our stay.
First off, the owner could not have been more awesome. He called us to make sure we knew where to go and when we got lost anyways he came and found us. After walking us to the hotel and showing us around he moved our car to a much cheaper lot and drove it back to us in the morning. He was very nice, answered all of our questions, gave a nice tour and then let us to ourselves.

Great location and comfy setup. The staff was very communicative and included pictures of how to find place. Very helpful and parked our car to help us unload into the car. Would deff stay again in this apartment.
It’s bit challenging to get to at first but almost any property in the old city would be for someone just getting there. Once you figure it out, the property is extremely located. Super clean, brand new, well appointed self service apartment.
The room was VERY nice. Recently redone with a great big shower. Very clean and roomy. Great location convenient to everything. Easy walk to the port and main road. Highly recommend this property. Marina was great.
The hotel annex is quiet with comfortable beds, very helpful front desk, and a nice room. My suggestion would be to go to the main hotel for brunch breakfast since it has many more options than the smaller breakfast that is available at the annex. Was happy with the hotel and would stay there again.
The Villa Split is perfect. A beautiful historic location in the heart of old town. Very quiet, wonderful breakfast and the most helpful and kind hosts in Marin and Ivona.
