"Location is perfect as it is close to the Atocha train station. Seina Sofia and Prado museums as well as the Retiro park. Some people may prefer to live close to the very busy area (gran via). The place is very well maintained. I would like to stay here again if I ever visit Madrid again. Breakfast is really good, not super fancy but offer many options and good quality. It is great to have a big breakfast before starting walking for almost a whole day."

"It is a very central and convenient location. The staff were friendly, approachable and helpful. We managed to check in a bit earlier and have a late check out. The breakfast was nice and charming with a good selection of fruits, juices and meats as well as some great boiled eggs when available. All in all, a great stay and we would stay there again."

We had a nice stay, the only reason I give it a "Good" rather than "Excellent" is that it is somewhat dated which is absolutely OK, it's in excellent condition and the front desk staff was terrific. "Unfortunately the air conditioning in our room was not working. Our room stayed at 26 c (about 79 f). My parents room had great a/c and they had no problems, so apparently the hotel does have air conditioning. We asked about it and were told that maintenance would come, but it was never fixed and we spent a miserable 2nd night at 26 c. Other than being so hot, the hotel was in the perfect location, the breakfast was great, the room was nice. I wish I could give it 5 stars."
