Great location - very easy to get to the various museums and sights we wanted to see in Madrid. The breakfast buffet was okay but not the best we have had in Spain. I would probably skip it and get something in the restaurant or one of the restaurants in the area. The room was very clean and comfortable. The blackout curtains worked great. The rooms had just been remodeled so they were even better than what was expected. The staff showed us to our room and explained how to use the lights (key card in the slot, something Americans aren’t used to) and how to operate the air conditioner controls. The location can’t be beat in the central spot of Sol with tons of restaurants and shops. The hotel is excellent and we would stay here again if in Madrid.
