Giuliana and Leonardo are amazing hosts! They were so welcoming and helpful. Feels like family! The property is right on the Duomo piazza so very old (1400’s!). The only negative is no elevator but we got our steps! Go easy on the luggage if you stay here. Highly recommend!!

Excellent central location, fantastic and helpful hosts, local knowledge of places to eat and visit which didn’t disappoint. Good view of the Duomo. More that ample continental breakfasts were delivered to room at time of our choosing. We would definitely stay again. 🙂

We were very impressed with this location. It is quite literally next to the Cathedral and Duomo in the heart of the city. Our window view was spectacular and, honestly, unbelievable. Despite being next to the cathedral, it was very quiet and we had no problems sleeping. Gulianna is an incredible help and knows the city very well. I would highly recommend staying here.

I absolutely loved this place. It was the most authentic Italian suite we have encountered yet on our trip through Europe. You open up the windows to a breathtaking view of the Duomo square. The most amazing part was the hospitality and generosity of both Liliana and her brother Leonardo. They were so kind and helpful, made our stay a 5-star by itself. Always a welcoming smile, you could tell they loved Florence and wanted you to love it too! I would recommend A Florence View to anyone!

This was a charming place to stay. We had the Cathedral View room and it went above our expectations. Perfect location in the heart of the city, a/c was cold, and it was quiet when windows are closed. This was perfect for our short stay. The location is amazing. The host Ms Giuliana was fabulous, and went above and beyond the entire stay. If we return we will use this property again. I absolutely recommend this for your stay in Florence!!

So I was torn on giving this review. The location is superb, right there beside the Baptistry and Duomo; lots of shopping and restaurants mere streets off the piazza. Our room didn’t have a view but was quiet. If we had had a view we would’ve been over an Irish pub, which would’ve been noisy. There are at least two flights of stairs depending on your room, maybe more, but they have a lift for luggage which helps for one flight of stairs. The bathroom was really small but manageable. Our problem was that the air conditioning went out after the first night and unfortunately the temperature in the room was not cool enough for me because I have hot flashes. We reported it and they did a temporary fix which didn’t take. They gave us a small fan to help, and we left the window/doors open when we could (there were pigeons, smells and others with windows open/privacy). It was beyond their (management’s) control but did not make for good sleep for either of us. Guiliana the manager, was very nice and I guess she did what she could. Even though we weren’t offered any compensation for our trouble (lack of good sleep for three nights) I only knocked off one star because it’s unlikely to happen to others and it’s a good location. Also, don’t want to forget there is no breakfast offered here, but that’s most places in Italy.
