1.5 miles for train station but really great location in center of Siena. My wife and I enjoyed the walk. Taxis are easy to catch at train station and hotel was very friendly to order a taxi if we wanted it one. Breakfast was excellent

Lovely hotel inside the city walls, if you are driving there and want to take advantage of the hotel car park (availability not guaranteed) you have to follow quite specific instructions to get there so as not to get a fine, they are quite easy to follow though. Dogs accepted and they provided dog beds and water for the dogs which was nice, the dogs are also allowed throughout the hotel. The views from the bedroom were amazing, as is the same from the lovely garden & terrace. Breakfast was great, lovely bread and the best marmalade ever, as well as cake, eggs, etc. bar is just open from 5pm but you can get a drink earlier if it takes your fancy

I am looking forward to my next stay at this magical hotel! Every single staff member was lovely and kind, and always helpful with questions you may have. The rooms were beautiful, clean, and well stocked. The garden terrace in the morning for breakfast was wonderful and the breakfast itself, was excellent. The mourning doves and turtles in the garden were an unexpected delight! If you want a magical place to stay while you're in the beautiful town of Siena, I would recommend this place a thousand times over!

The hotel is beautiful and charming— very ideal for for couples (man & woman— without children along for the ride). The garden and the view from it are spectacular. The breakfast in the garden was a highlight of the trip to Siena. The only downside is the rooms are small and not ideal for a family traveling with a kid. I will definitely say here next time when I travel without kids.

Old historic building, beautiful garden terrace for an evening drink as you watch the sun go down. Staff very helpful. Our room was small, we should have upgraded as there are better rooms. Pay attention to the directions they send you as it's impossible not to get fined if you come any other way.
