Good place to stay, just don’t expect perfection.

It was okay. Shower door didn’t work very well and was difficult to get in. No elevator so be prepared to carry your stuff up all the way. Air conditioner worked nicely and the breakfast place was nice. The representative I was chatting with on WhatsApp was great and very helpful. Was not made clear that the hotel was a shared space, wasn’t the end of the world but the walls were very thin.

Lovely hotel, extremely nice and clean, didn't know they had daily house keeping so was pleasantly surprsied when coming back from a long day that the room and been cleaned. Would book again if I had to. Only drawback was lack of parking though the station nearby had €1/€1.50 hourly rate but adds up for long periods of time.

Fabulous stay

We had a lovely stay at this hotel. The owner /person who greeted us was friendly, helpful and attentive. He gave us lots of local tips. It was a great location for exploring the Cinque Terra with about a one minute walk to the station. The beds were very comfortable with coffee/tea maker in the room. Highly recommend!

We had a great experience. The room was perfect for the four of us with plenty of space. The only true downside was there was three sets of stairs, and I didn’t realize that was no lift. I had recently had knee surgery and that was the only part of getting to the room that was difficult.

We chose this hotel in La Spezia to be close to the train that we were planning to use for commute to Cinque Terre. We ended up falling in love with this lovely cozy town: it felt like home. The room was spacious, so was the bathroom. The parking was paid, but the hotel took care of the arrangements. Breakfast was at the cafe, 2 spots, nearby: we liked better the one on a round about.

Loved that it was right by the train station and the staff was very friendly and helpful! On the flop side, the beds were pretty hard and we could feel the springs (even my daughter who weighs under 100 lbs). We didn't hear trains but the sound of other customers carries very well.

The hotel is right above the train station. The room is relatively quiet due to heavy duty windows. The staff is very friendly. Hotel also has free bikes, we enjoyed the quick tour of the city. Avoid room #5 which is adjacent to transformer and bathroom layout is awkward.

Room was clean and bed was comfortable. As this apartment is right at the train station there was noise during the day, which dropped off at night. When closed, the windows deafened the noise. The staff were very helpful. We were close to restaurants, which were ok, but catered to tourists so weren’t great. As a caution, if you use the local transit, make sure you get a tickets at a tobaccoist and validate it when you get on the bus. If you don’t it’s a 35€ fine.
