We were welcomed warmly and found our room clean and with fabulous bathrooms. Our balloon trip had been cancelled due to weather and the staff made every effort to book us on the next day. Royal Stone House is my favorite hotel in Goreme. I have stayed there 3 or 4 times over the years. The staff is amazing, wonderful breakfast every morning and wonderful views. You can see the hot air balloons rise when the weather is good enough for them to be in the air. Highly recommend Royal Stone House.

An unforgettable stay in Cappadocia — warm, thoughtful, and charming. I only stayed here for a short while, but this place made a lasting impression. From the moment I arrived, the staff — especially the front desk — were incredibly welcoming and kind. They helped me book my hot air balloon tour effortlessly and were always ready to assist with anything I needed. The room was spotless and beautifully decorated, with such a cozy and calming atmosphere. The hotel’s ambiance, cleanliness, and attention to detail made me feel both comfortable and inspired. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, served in a lovely setting that made slow mornings even more enjoyable. I truly wish I had stayed longer. We were only here for less than 72 hours but are very glad we chose this property. I didnt realize at the time of the booking that the hotel is the same as the operator under the name Royal Balloons. They helped me book a balloon flight for the day after our arrival. The sunrise was fully booked so we took the “daylight “ one just 45 min later. Still we had to wake up at 4 to be ready in the meeting point by 4:40…which happened to be our lobby. So keep in mind for first flight you will need to be ready by 4am to be taken to launch site. I guess folks staying elsewhere have to account for even more time if they are booked with Royal Balloons, in order to be brought here. We booked a family deluxe suite which had a queen bed in the bedroom and two separate twins in the entry room. Perfect for our family of 4. Both the hotel and the balloon flight worked out great for us. We happened to arrive on early flight from Istanbul landing at 12:40 and the shuttle arranged by the hotel was already waiting w our name among others. And we made it to hotel by 2 pm check-in time giving us rest of day to explore. Goreme is well situated to explore cappadocia. The town itself has a lot of shops and restaurants and easy 6-8 min walk away. Front desk gave us the idea to maybe rent car if we want instead of all day tour so we did for 24 hours and it let us explore at our timeline and the sites we wanted to go from the red tour. Highly recommend this place for their friendliness and location

We found the hotel to be very clean with staff very prompt in responding to any request. Breakfast was really nice with different options every day. The location is bit far from downtown center as you have to walk for 10- 15 mins for dinner/ lunch options Best thing is that you get discounts to the Royal hot Balloon and you don’t have to go anywhere as the hotel is the starting point for all the hot balloon trip

It's a great choice if you need a quite nice place to stay in Goreme. The staff were kind and helpful. Also, if you want to fly with Royal Ballon it's even better: discount for the flight, no need to get up earlier, and first hand info about the weather just by talking to the reception.

We had a fantastic stay! The whole team is very friendly, helpful and welcoming, and I mean also the team from their sister company Royal Ballons. Check-in was easy and quick. We booked the balloon ride with them for the following morning and were lucky enough the weather allowed us to have this magic experience. The bedroom was very spacious, clean, well-decorated, charming and cozy. The bathroom was also very clean and the amenities were also very good. Breakfast was excellent, varied every day its offered of hot items and abundant. We stayed for seven nights and we strongly believe Capadoccia deserves more than those few days most travellers usually dedicate to it. Royal Stone Houses was the place for this prolonged stay. A special mention to the balloon experience must be made. We had a tasty light breakfast before the ride and were then driven to the site of take-off. The flight was super safe and smooth and our pilot was fabulous. After landing, which was super professionally assisted by the land team, we received medals and had a sparkling wine toast. As we returned to the hotel we had breakfast and, to our surprise, found a lovely complimentary fruit plate in our bedroom. We wish we could remember everyones' names as they were all great...Anyway, we send our thanks to Mustafa and Murat (breakfast) and Emir (reception) representing the whole staff and extending these to all of them.
