Sarasota is a great town but during the winter months it gets crowded with snowbirds and there's a lot of traffic. Restaurants are full. The price of rental cars and hotels goes up. But the beaches are so beautiful and you can't beat the weather.

Sarasota was cute. The Mote Aquarium was small and I don't think it was worth the price at all. But I keep telling myself that that money goes to the animals to make myself feel better about spending that money. Schnitzel Kitchen was the best!

Downtown Sarasota is a happening place. Great restaurants & shopping. There's a market every Saturday on the main street. We took a trolley tour around the city which I would recommend. Check out the marina for lunch or to watch the boats.

Take the Discover tour of the town. Go to as many Amish establishments as possible. If you stay downtown & get a shuttle from the airport you do not need a car. There is a free tram that takes you all over the city. Lido beach is great.

Sarasota has one of the nicest beaches I've seen in the US- the Siesta Key Beach. White, soft sandy beach and beautiful area. A sight for sore eyes.

"Everything was great. My 11 year old and I needed a room unexpectedly for an early flight. We were so happy with the accommodations. We swam in the lovely clean pool, loved the lobby and the view from the elevator. The room was so clean, and cozy, and comfortable. The airport shuttle driver drove a little less conservatively than I would but we arrived safe. A nice overall experience."
"Excelente servicio comodidad de la habitación, la ubicación perfecta, el desayuno súper bueno. Martha nos atendió en la recepción y fue muy amable. Recomiendo este hotel 100!!"
