Nice B&B in the center of Lucca.

Nice room. B&B is located in z'n anctien building on the 2nd floor. Nogmaals elevator but stairs with you can walk on good.

Casa pulita e gestore simpatico e cortese. Non è presente il bidet nel bagno esterno. Per il resto la zona è ottima e centralissima. Consiglio.

Veldig sentralt, enkelt rom

To netter på enkelt 4-roms hotell beliggende i fjerde etasje midt i smørøyet i gamlebyen i Lucca. Parkere må du gjøre utenfor bymurene, og rusle noen hundre meter til hotellet med bagasjen. Skikkelig trim opp trappene kommer i tillegg.Vårt rom (2) hadde god dobbeltseng og eget bad, og vi hadde et hyggelig opphold med råd og vink fra eieren Guiseppe.

Camera e bagno puliti, buona colazione e soprattutto disponibilità totale, simpatia e cortesia del titolare. Ottima posizione sia per visitare i monumenti di Lucca sia per fare shopping o mangiare (sia a pranzo che a cena)

God central overnatning midt i Luccas hovedgade. Rolig værelse ud til baggård. En streg i regningen at der ikke var morgemmad inkluderet som det ellers stod både ved bestilling og bekræftelse.

Ótimo

Fomos bem recebidos pelo Giuseppe que nos deu todas as informações necessárias. Muito bem localizado, próximo de todos os pontos de interesse. O quarto estava bem limpo. A única desvantagem é que o pagamento tem que ser em dinheiro.

Excellent B&B close to the action

With this B&B you are based in the middle of the old town on the busy Via Fulungo which is the main shopping street with good restaurants on your doorstep. The rooms are on the side of the building away from the street so arent too noisy. Rooms are well appointed with new bedding, but are a little tight for space if you have more than a couple of bags. We were welcomed by the kind and helpful owner Giuseppe, who gave us fantastic tips on what to do in Lucca.

A great modest place to stay.

Alba B&b was great. The location was ideal- right in the center yet there was no street noise at night. It is a modest establishment and not actually aa b&b as breakfast is optional and extra but that is not a problem as there are cafes all around. The host is very helpful with information. You can hear your neighbors coming in ast night, but fortunately they were quiet. It is up 4 flights of stairs, but as I was traveling light it was not a problem. I would definitely stay here again.

Perfectly located B&B in Lucca

This bed and breakfast is perfectly located in the centre of Lucca, next to the Piazza dell'Anfiteatro. Despite the central location the room was lovely and quiet. The room was clean and comfy and the welcome was friendly and courteous. The location is close to some great restaurants and is just a couple of minutes walk from the city walls which are perfect for an evenings stroll. The internet works great too. Perfect experience!

Casa Alba - sejour professionnel

Ideal pour passer quelques jours en mode business ou en couple. Parfaitement placé dans le centre de Lucca (son point fort). La chambre était très propre et nettoyée tous les matins. En terme de service, il s'agit d'un B&B avec une cuisine à disposition pour tout le monde si nécessaire.

B&B centralissimo!

Ottimo B&B centralissimo e comodo ai parcheggi auto gratuiti fuori dalle mura. Personale cordiale e disponibile. Aria condizionata e bagno perfetto. Un po' cara l'eventuale colazione e manca il bidè in bagno ma per tutto il resto perfetto! Se torneremo a Lucca andremo sicuramente di nuovo qui.

Clean and comfortable place to stay

Hotel Casa Alba was centrally located in the town of Lucca, right on the main street. Owners were very nice and helpful but, like most B&B's we saw them at check in and then didn't get to see them again (since we had to leave the next morning before they got there). Room was very clean and comfortable and air conditioned, a little small but it was just a place to sleep. Bathroom also clean and small...ours was a private bathroom but separate from our room. Unfortunately, sometime during the night the electricity went out...no way to make coffee or anything in the morning. Stores surrounding seemed to have electricity so I don't know what the problem was. Besides that fluke of electricity I would recommend Casa Alba.

au cœur de la ville historique

Très bien situé (plein centre ville). Je regrette par contre l'absence de petit déjeuner. L'appartement est au 4ème étage accessible par un escalier charmant mais étroit ce qui peut être gênant si on a beaucoup de bagages ou des problèmes physiques. (totalement inaccessible pour un handicapé). L'isolation phonique est perfectible. L’endroit reste idéal pour un jeune couple en voyage.

Super B&B pour moins de 60 ans ....

Le B&B Casa Alba est très bien situé dans le centre ancien de Lucca ,dans un quartier très touristique il faut noter que l'on ne peut pas accéder à l'hotel en voiture .Le parking est à environ 400 m (bagages légers conseillés!).C'est dans un immeuble ancien au 3ème étage sans ascenceur ,avec des escaliers raides ,ce qui nous a posé probléme car nous n'avons plus 20 ans et l'un de nous ,récemment opéré a particuliérement souffert,même si à l'arrivée le responsable (tout à fait gentil ,aimable et serviable nous a aidé à monter nos valises il n'était pas là au départ et cela a été dur ! ).Les chambres sont très correctes, propres et bien insonorisées.On peut semble t-il(nous ne l'avons pas utilisée) disposer d'une petite Kitchenette .C'est un endroit agréable et bien situé où l'on est accueilli avec le sourire mais ..... réservé à des clients en forme .

Casa Alba : je n'y retournerai pas

Quartier : très bien ! Le propriétaire est effectivement très sympathique. Mais où est le deuxième B de B and B : petit déjeuner : 0. Il faut prévoir d'aller en ville. Mais les vrais problèmes sont : - le niveau 2 indiqué correspond à un 4ème étage dans un escalier étroit, voyageurs chargés, oubliez sauf si vous êtes très costauds. Malades du dos (mon cas), handicapés : fuyez... - L'insonorisation est quand même un peu juste : des voisins en pleins ébats vous feront participer, les bons ronfleurs aussi. l'emplacement est certes idéal surtout pour des jeunes qui feront fi des retenues énoncées plus haut. Je trouve le rapport qualité /prix un peu injustifié.

Overly long visit to Lucca

Planned to spend three days in Lucca but left after two, only to go to Rome and get robbed by some gypsies in the subway! This is more an Airbnb property than a typical Expedia option. My host, who was friendly, was not set up to take credit cards and so I gave him cash. Also, the apartment which was more than adequate is up quite a few flights of stairs with no elevator so again like a lot of properties be careful if you're handicap or having trouble doing stairs.

Well located

Well located in the middle of the old city. Walking distance to main sights. The room was in very good conditions and very comfortable. It has TV and WiFi. My only complaint is that it was supposed to be bed & breakfast but there was not breakfast. We only got a coffee.

Nuitée à Lucca

Très bel accueil. Le propriétaire est très sympathique. La chambre était très propre et confortable. L'emplacement est idéal. Rien à dire de négatif à propos de cet hôtel à part le fait que le petit déjeuner n'est pas compris dans le prix de la chambre.
