Lovely stay. Had the most friendly and helpful staff. The only two things that were not good, was how incredibly loud you could hear EVERYTHING 😅 if anyone just talked outside the room you could hear it as clear as if they were inside your room. This place is special because of the staff especially Giorgos! Not only was the place clean, comfortable, close to everything and cozy, the staff that runs it is awesome. Giorgos was incredibly accessible and easy to talk to. He was amazing from before, during and after our stay at Camere. Extremely helpful especially when we needed help getting in contact with Chania airport’s lost and found department. It wasn’t his responsibility to try to help us but he went out of his way to reach out the best he could. Instances like this makes an experience at an accommodation extra special. We’re already thinking of going back once he we get a chance!

Excellent place.,

What a great spot to stay in Chania. It's literally 40 steps from the inner harbour in the old town. And, within a few hundred steps are everything you need or really need to see in the town. The host is very accomodating and is available for answering any question you may have about the area. The staff is also outstanding. (Thank you for your help A) The room I stayed in was very well done and quite lovely. The bed was very comfortable. Highly recommend.

This was easily my favorite hotel in Crete. Though it's small, it's all you need--spotless, modern, and cozy. It's in the old town and a 1-minute walk to the harbor. Would absolutely stay here again! The host was extremely accommodating for late check-in.

Loved this place and would recommend to anyone. The rooms are immaculate, super clean and modern with a contemporary twist. The location is just where you want to be. But just as equal was the staff, firstly Giorgio’s was the perfect host, his communication prior to arrival and during the stay was amazing. This property is in an excellent location in old town, a block from Chania Harbour. So many restaurants to choose from in the area. The room is modern and has everything you need. The best part of the property is the host, he cannot do enough for you. He met me, took my luggage and walked me to the property as cars are not accessible in this area. He was in constant communication and was extremely helpful. I cannot recommend this property enough.

The best thing about this hotel is the extremely hands- on manager and his attention to every detail. He told me the very best spots to eat and visit, but beyond that, when coffee was spilled all over my clothes on the flight over HE took my things to the dry cleaner. AND as it’s hot and I’m a senior he walked me and my suitcase to my next destination a good 15 min walk away. So gracious.

What made this place special is the host or manager. A few days before the stay, he had tried to keep in touch with you, and during the whole stay, assisted you through, dining places, transport from and to the next stop and room assistance, etc. Any enquiries were responded within a matter of minutes, via WhatsApp. The best host I had ever encountered. You will surely have a peace of mind in his hands.

Beautiful Room in Great Location; Wonderful Owner

We had phenomenal support from the owner, Giorgos, despite everything being self-check in. He was constantly in touch with us via WhatsApp and provided great suggestions and and a compilation of attractions and restaurants for the area, and even reached out to car rental companies to clarify a question that we had. The genuine pride and care of ownership and top notch service is something so rarely experienced. The room itself is elegant and recently updated, and we had a large private patio. It was absolutely spotless. The hotel is located in the Old Town and steps away from great restaurants (we were not bothered by noise), and less than a block from the waterfront. We hope to visit again and would definitely stay here again.

A picture has a thousand of words…same goes for Camere Maritima. If you don’t see with your own eyes you won’t believe the view is amazing your in the old town shopping all over even in the tiniest of spots, friendly people, the owner is outstanding responds immediately and gives you the best and easiest guides with just a click. It makes you feel like your home within a day you know your way around and feel like one of the regulars in Chania. Our room service maid is outstanding it was like we knew one another from the first day we meet. You can never go wrong with staying in Camere Maritima. Starbucks in within 3 min walk Tamam one of our favorite restaurants is to the left of the room. The harbor is a 3 min walk as well…. I love love chania

One of those places where everything works and everything was planned for, with a nice shower, comfy bed, mini fridge, coffee pods, etc. (Note that my room has no balcony or view and was located at the entrance on the entry level floor). The construction quality seems high, with nice tilework, sturdy shower doors, etc. Even things like the front door not closing loudly, yet having good heft. Sound insulation from the street and lobby was very good. The only major downside is that I was awoken by super loud drilling each morning, which went on for three hours the first morning yet the owner said he doesn't know anything about it but as long as it's after 8am, it's legally fine. The issue is the next door building is clearly and visibly under renovation with work crews so when the owner doesn't really seem to care, and doesn't suggest any solutions yet stating construction noise never happens around there, it's hard to believe really. And when it happens repeatedly throughout your stay, well, you might think you can put two and two together. Maybe a half renovated house on the adjoining wall has magically had a super quiet construction until I showed up but it's hard to believe. I felt the owner was very much interested in excusing it and dismissing the reality than caring about my experience. So, if there isn't wall shaking, super loud drilling just after 8am each morning, I could recommend the physical place. Unfortunately, I think the owner has a credibility problem.

Giorgos was a great host and made our stay amazing! He was very responsive and checked in with us via message throughout our stay! The location of the property is in the heart of it all, making walking everywhere so easy! Giorgos provided us with many recommendations for food, villages and beaches and they did not disappoint!
