Tokyo is one of the most incredible places on earth to visit. It's so far advanced it's like visiting the future. The people and culture is something the world needs to experience and embrace. I've been there 6 times and will be going back soon

Tokyo is SO easy to get around - trains go to absolutely everywhere so you're never more than a 10 min walk from where you want to go. The people are so lovely and accommodating. Be aware that summer (July) is VERY hot& humid (& wet). Take umbrellas!

Main areas I explored were Akihabara, Shinjuku, Shibuya, Sumida, Nakano, and Machida. All were fantastic areas of the city. If you know those areas I assume you'll wind up in the same stores I went to. Other recommendation in Nakano is Tondemunshijan

Tokyo holds a special place in my heart as one of my favorite cities in the world. Every time I return, I find myself rekindling my love for design. The city has a unique ability to make me lose track of time and fully immerse myself in the present

Highly recommend getting out of Shinjuku and exploring Ikebukuro (Sunshine 60) and Ueno Park. The other tourist destinations are worth a visit, but you really don't need to take the 100,000,000th image of Kaminari gate. A quick selfie is good enough.

Very large city, but nice to walk and explore its multiple regions, countless restaurants, caffeterias, parks and shrines. Few automobiles, lots of bikes. Also dazzling at night. Lots of creative and colorful outdoor advertising, very safe to walk.

Tokyo is amazingly huge, clean, and quiet (generally people are quiet, compared to other large cities -- in the subways, trains, and on the streets). I loved the orderliness of it all... queuing up and the respect was so nice. People were helpful.
"I had a great stay at Keio Plaza Hotel in Shinjuku! The room had an incredible view of Mt. Fuji (on clear days) and we could also see the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building’s light show at night, which was such a cool bonus.
The location is super convenient — really close to metro lines, tons of shopping, and all the nightlife Shinjuku has to offer. It made getting around and exploring Tokyo really easy.
Breakfast was excellent with a nice mix of Japanese and Western options. Whether you’re into traditional Japanese breakfast or prefer something more familiar like eggs and toast, they’ve got you covered.
The staff were also amazing — really friendly and helpful the whole time. You can tell they take pride in their service.
Definitely planning to stay here again next time I’m in Tokyo. Highly recommend it!

"Love this hotel!! Quiet neighborhood and 1 block from Shiomi Station. Room was spacious and very comfortable. They offered complimentary water every day of our stay. Also, the area for the bathroom was great with separate amenities, such independent toilet room, shower and sink providing privacy.
Breakfast buffet was great with several options. Although we did not include it when making the booking we paid at the hotel approximately $25/person but It was worth it.
In addition they have a convenience store (Family Mart) at the hotel, with everything on hand from personal care, snacks, drinks to the popular pre packed Japanese meals to go.
Love the hotel and definitely recommend it. We had a very pleasant stay."
"Every was great , amenities are excellent . Only complaint is about bey to Small and pillow are really bad . Tv option for English speakers guests are almost none . Control remote ata in Japanese . If you like to Watch any tv ? Forget about it .!"
