Nice atmospheric hotel. Had the tone of Roman history with a painted ceiling in our room and some exposed brick. Breakfast was ok. Towels were unusual ,- very thin but still absorbent. Good location. And accommodating staff.

very nice hotel. helpful staff. room was small but clean and pretty. garden is very nice. I sat there one evening and had food and drinks. the hotel is far enough from the city center to be quiet but not too far - just a 10-to-15 minute walk

Nice location, few steps from Ponte vecchio and all shopping areas.

I am very busy and don't like to waste my time but I thought I had to compliment this hotel and the staff. My wife and I traveled with our daughter and we were expecting to be very tight in the room. We were given a very spacious suite with two bedrooms. The beds were great, the view was spectacular facing the cathedral. The breakfast menu was delicious. Staff was great. I will return

Great place in the heart of the city. Very friendly staff.

We have stayed at Silla prior to this visit and love the Hotel. The area is a perfect walk to the center of Florence but it is off the busy streets and very quiet. The staff is always very accommodating, willing to help in any way they can. They serve breakfast daily and it is a very nice way to start your busy day. The rooms are large and comfortable and also very quiet, affording a nice night's sleep after a busy day of touring. A short walk across the Ponte Grazie puts you at the Ponte...

The hotel is well located but not in a trendy area. Our room was basic but very clean and the bed was comfy. Lots of steep stairs and too many floor level changes - like from bedroom to bathroom. The shower was very slippery so I wouldn’t get in it after being over served! Not ideal for seniors but we managed OK. The staff was lovely and helpful. If you want a good value, great AC and location give it a try.

Room was spacious and clean. Its tough to get to if you have a taxi or driver because it is on a narrow street you will have to get out in the square and walk over, but the walk is extremely short. There is only one iron in the hotel and sometimes it is shared between multiple hotels in the area. Those were the only downsides other than that i recommended this hotel also great breakfast

My husband, 11 yr old son and I just returned from our first trip to Italy.We stayed at the San Gallo Palace in Florence 5 nights and loved it. From the moment our taxi dropped us off, the staff was friendly and helpful. One of the staff rushed outside to bring in our luggage as we were exiting the taxi. I wish I'd have gotten his name. Hotel was in a great location! Five minute walk to Santa Maria Novella Train Station and a 15 minute walk or less to city center. Morning buffet was good and staff were friendly and really helpful. We would come back again! Thank you!

We cannot recommend this hotel enough. The price was so worth it. The resort has a delicious restaurant, comfortable and luxurious accommodations, a lovely bar, relaxing pool area, and the most amazing Tuscan hills view. We can attest that the romantic sunset they promote is spot on. There is a quaint downtown a 10 minutes walk away as well. It was conveniently located to Florence and many other Tuscan locations. It was amazing to get an authentic Tuscan experience.

Great clean room. Just what we needed for an overnight prior to flight home from Venice. Staff was great and helpful. Made taxi arrangement for morning and gave suggestion for restaurant for early dinner prior to 7pm openings for most restaurants.

Amazing in every way. The beauty of waking around is unlike any other. When we got there after a long day of traveling we had just missed the lunchtime to eat, and when went to shower the handle broke off- this is not a complaint. First they extended lunch without being asked and fixed the shower within minutes. From there on everything was amazing.
