Hotels in Pisa

"The only good thing about the hotel is the location, being so close to the central train station. The entrance to the hotel was like a worksite with an area of rubble fenced off - very offputting as a first impression! There was supposed to be a bar (advertised on the hotel website and also throughout the hotel) but this no longer existed. They also advertised an airport shuttle service which was no longer in operation. The air-conditioning units were not working in many of the rooms (I heard three separate lots of people complaining at reception about this. The air-conditioner in my friend's room leaked water. The wall in my room below the air-conditioning unit was stained (and possibly mouldy?) from where the unit had obviously been leaking in the past. I didn't attempt to switch it on. The curtains in my room were simply filthy - grey with multiple stains on them. I advised at reception that the room should not be used for another guest until the curtains had been cleaned or replaced. "

"Nice room. Literally opposite Pisa tower and very close to airport. Nice eateries and bars close by. Room was quite hot so had to sleep with windows open as no fan provided in room."

"The room was comfortable and roomy. It was literally right next to the Tower and Duomo complex! Staff was super friendly and spoke English well. I liked that they had someone available at a desk all day and that they could stow our luggage after we checked out. My only complaint was that our room was right next to the door and we could hear every time someone came in or out VERY clearly. It was only a 10 minute walk to the Pisa San Rossore station so if you’re coming by train, go there instead of Pisa Centrale."

"Hotel was in a good location but is very old fashioned and rooms are a bit shabby. Breakfast is adequate. Hotel OK for a 1 night stay."

"Clean room, quiet hotel. Breakfast was simple, but good for the price. Close to train station and easy walking distance to airport, a bit too far out to easily access the tourist sites (approximately a 20 minute walk). Staff was friendly. Would definitely stay again to make use of the train station."

"The property has an exceptional view over the tower from the terrace. It is just 100 metres from piazza dei miracoli. Good breakfast. A paid shuttle can take you to the airport . Good service"

"Room was beautiful with shutters on the windows and two huge windows. The kids both had a full size bed the bathroom was large as was the shower with powerful head. Light in bathroom was great. Everything was so clean. The breakfast was plentiful and the cappuccino delicious. Location 2 minute walk from baptistery and tower area- fantastic we had a brilliant one night stay and we all wished we had another night booked- best accommodation on our 11 day trip! "
