"Right from checking in, our room,the staff, the grounds & the food & drink being excellent. The staff are really friendly especially in the bar & restaurant where they made a special effort as my partner is vegan, also the food & drinks were really reasonable which I didn’t expect with it being a hotel. Sitting outside on the terrace in the sun with a cold cider/beer was fabulous as was sitting in the lounge on an evening chatting to Tom the barman. He was really helpful in suggesting local places to visit on our weekend away. We will definitely be back especially with the direct deals they have at the moment £169/179for 2 for 2 nights including breakfast & £15 towards your 1st night meal Apr-Sept. Bargin!!!! "Only stayed one night, hotel was clean, if in need of a bit of an update. Room was at back of property, slight noise from aircon unit (i think, room did not have aircon) from early morning, didnt keep me awake just low hum in the background. Bathroom was clean, didnt use shower. Breakfast was nice but limited ro usual cooked breakfast items. Careals, pastries and toast. Ideal for grwat north showground, Harlow carr and in centre of Harrogate with parking available for booking"

"The reception staff were super helpful, thank you! Room a bit dark and gloomy overlooking nothing nice so glad it was OK just to sleep in, wouldn't particularly want to spend time in there. Fat Badger was fun."

"Lovely surroundings, easy walk to town centre. Breakfast was hit and miss sharply any hot buffet left 40 mins before end of service and had to persistently ask if anything was coming out. Also ran out of a lit of continental breakfast items."

"Overall good but TV in room needs an update as there were channels missing and channel idents from stations that no longer broadcast."

"When I initially arrived the front Car Park was full but fortunately saw the sign for extra parking at the back . That was quite full too but found a space , just ! The welcome by the staff was really nice and the bar and restaurant staff were all really good . I was just passing through for 1 night . My tea in the restaurant was excellent and the buffet style breakfast in the morning was very good ."
