Settle is a great location to catch the train to Leeds or Carlisle provided that Northern Trains can provide a service, which they couldn't. A £50 Taxi bill from Skipton soured our visit. If you are coming to Settle, come by car.

Really didn't see settle at its best on a wet Sunday in November. The Victoria Hall is a splendid period venue.
"Stayed for two night as working an event close by.. great location.. staff were very helpful and friendly. Food was really nice and waiting staff were very attentive and helpful.
