We stayed in Cologne for two days, and we needed somewhere to sleep and park our car while we roamed the city on foot or public transport. The Ameron was an excellent choice. Easy to find by car, and right next to the tram station, with just 5 stops away from the city center. The hotel serves a very nice German breakfast, and the staff at the reception were very helpful with some tourist tips and information. This is now definitely my go-to hotel for my next visit to Cologne.

One of the staff was very very arrogant rude he gave me my room card and the room was very dirty not clean so I go back to him he told me we don't have house keeping at the moment and I will offer u new towels I told him what r u saying to stay in a dirty room he reply back don't shout at me then his manger or colleague he apologized to me and give me new room I spent in this hotel 6 night this happend at 08-july-2017 12:07 am .

This is a great hotel within walking distance of the airport. While it does not offer a shuttle, a taxi charges a flat fee of €15 for the short 8-minute ride. The hotel is located in a quiet corner of the airport area and has a small bar with simple food options that are decent. There is an Italian restaurant about a 12-minute walk away and a Chinese restaurant about 8 minutes away on foot. Overall, this is a great choice for a one-night stay near the airport.

Very modern and spacious rooms. Great view from the balcony. The aircon worked great on the day of arrival (35°C outside). It was a relief during the heatwave. A few minor criticisms: Electrical outlets to charge devices are scarce and quite far away from the living/sleeping area.
