We had the most wonderful stay. The Hotel is exceptional with fine interior design and art along with all the luxurious amenities. We stayed in a room with the most beautiful view of the lake. I highly recommend getting a room with a view. Our Breakfast and dinners were delicious, our room was spotless and pristine, the spa was super relaxing and the staff were Top Notch. We had the best time and recommend this beautiful hotel to others to enjoy.
This was both the least expensive and our favorite hotel of a two week trip. Quaint, clean, with a lovely lobby, lounge, and dining area. The Lugano Dante hotel is a great hotel, the location can't be beaten, steps from the funicular and right by the city center, we walked everywhere. This hotel is very generous in terms of taking of customers, free drinks in room mini bar, coffee, espresso, apples, waters in the lobby, make one feel so much like home. After a day of sightseeing in the area we returned to the hotel.

Short stroll down the ramp from the main buses and trains. Host brought us to door just down the block and showed us to our little apartment. Kitchen was fully equipped; even a dishwasher. Beautiful corner room with nice view down the alleys. Around the bend from our doorway was a cement patio with flowers to relax. The breakfast was great.

We had such a great experience. Room had the views of the lake and the mountains - out of this world. Every member of the staff was courteous, helpful, as well as very knowledgeable. Staff was very accommodating, courteous, and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. Stayed a week and it felt like home! Large pool, and gym. Which were clean and very usuable. There was a horse track across the street, but it was not loud and it did not dictract me from my sleep.
We had a very pleasant stay here while en route from France to Italy. The hotel was extremely convenient to the train station, and, even though we arrived after the front desk had closed, we easily arranged to have the keys left for us in a lock box. Our room was clean and comfortable, and we found Lugano utterly charming and scenic. The room is small by American standards, but spacious relative to what you would expect to find in larger European cities. I'd gladly recommend it to rail travels...
