"We stayed here because of an appointment at UVA Medical Center. The suite was beautiful. The floor plan was perfect. The dual zone ac for the bedroom vs the living area was so thoughtful. The staff so kind. Now, even if you’re having a medical procedure and need more time, they do not allow late check outs. Just an fyi so you’re prepared. Not a complaint bc they use that time to make it soooo clean!!!! "

"We had a big room with 2 beds and a kitchen. Our room was nice and clean, and a great find for the price. No frills, but what you need. The breakfast is coffee, granola bars, hard-boiled eggs, and oranges. "

"The lodge is set in the woods, with many areas to sit outside and enjoy the surroundings. We stayed in a building a short walking distance from the main lodge. The lodge and buildings are rustic, which adds to the charm. The room was clean, with ample space inside. A Keurig coffee maker and refrigerator were included in the room. Both the taproom and the dining room were good, with a few choices of food and drinks at a usual price point. They also have a Starbucks in the common area. We would happily stay again if in the area. "

"Lovely hotel. I was traveling with my service dog. The first room I was offered was not made up when I went into the room. Back down to the check-in desk, a different person took care of me this time. When I informed the front desk, the room was not made up. They told me that they typically place guests with their service dog on the second floor and that after checking it appeared, none of the rooms were made up on the second floor. The gentleman hesitated, as if I was supposed to wait until one of the rooms was cleaned and the original guest services stepped in and placed me on the third floor. Just an observation, overwhelmingly check-in at large hotels seem to be staffed with less than friendly staff. I believe I could mention one hotel recently where I had a positive front desk experience with someone that was very friendly other than that, they are frequently aloof, and cold acting. I believe hospitality needs to be emphasized for front desk. The hotel itself was wonderful interestingly enough a janitor walking by was the one who informed me where to walk my dog front desk didn’t offer that information. The hotel is a very nice facility with great food options I would consider staying again. I’m just hopeful. Front desk is more friendly"

"We have stayed here before and really love the amenities the decor, the architecture and most of all the friendly staff especially Catherine, Taylor, and Cortney. The food is really delicious."
