"Everything. Was alright. For the price though the breakfast could have been better."

"Getting to the hotel parking was very convoluted and not clear. I tried to go in a door in the “front” of the hotel but it was locked and no staff that was there turned around when I tried to open it. Yes it was clean, and very pretty looking, but there were no signs to say “hotel guests park here,” etc. I was greeted by a gal who was very unhappy to be there, I was pretty much disregarded with my frustration with the parking situation. The entryway to the hotel was very nice, everything was very clean. Hotel room was clean. There were bare minimum amenities in the room. No coffee, make up remover pads. There were loud clients upstairs above me, I thought about calling down to the front desk after about a few hours, but then it stopped, and then you can only assume what was happening. It was either that or 16 Great Danes playing upstairs. Breakfast was mediocre at best. For the price that I was paying for this hotel I was expecting a ton more service overall."

"Front desk lady booked another couple into my room a hour after checking in so I had some strangers trying to get in my room. Bed was uncomfortable and breakfast was trash. For $100 a night it should’ve been nicer."

"For the money it's 5 stars. It is a great value for an affordable hotel, clean venue, etc. It's not a Hilton but a great place to stay."

"The Hotel Grand River is a property with a lot of potential, unfortunately it falls short. The front desk staff was amazing! Very helpful and personable. The building itself is nice, in a nice location, unfortunately for the duration of my stay, the hallway on the ground floor reeked of urine. My room was a great value for the price, all of the available rooms on the app were listed at the same price, I selected the nicest looking one available, which was a suite with sofa bed. That wasn’t the room I was put in, which was a Jacuzzi suite, which was even better as I was traveling alone for work. My room was very clean, but the only coffee that was provided was decaffeinated (not an issue for most folks, but a personal pet peeve.) The view from the hotel is fantastic. The breakfast offerings were extremely mediocre. I enjoyed my stay, and felt like I received a great value for what I paid, but I also recognize that a few small adjustments (cleaning and deodorizing the carpets that have urine smell, investing to improve the amenities) would go a very long way to improve the guest experience."
