"The room was set to 71 degrees and when we got back the room was icy and damp, towels and sheets.
Two room keys never really worked, had to call maids to unlock door.
On Sunday, not much of a breakfast!
Pool closed! TV remote too basic, hard to use.

"Nice place for a over night stay, the bedding was very comfortable and clean and no issue with check in/ out. My cons was having issues with the tv when we arrived it was off line and unplugged so we had to wait for it to start up and load and once on it seem like it would freeze when channel surfing and the pool and Jacuzzi area was nice and clean on the small side but it was a nice weekend getaway."

"Loved having a King sized bed, but it was a little too large for this room as it was difficult to move around. Easy highway access, and to all the local shops/restaurants in the area. Nice pool as it was 102 degrees while we were there.
Breakfast could have had a few more options like toast/bagels for those who do not like waffles."

"When this Archer was still the Lorien it was my home away from home. I enjoy my staycations. Some things have changed and improved while others did not. I did enjoy my time at the spa. Its such a great amenity. I wish room service was open earlier but other than that the food and service is great. I'll recommend Archer for sure. Thanks for everything Archer!"

and we enjoyed the spacious room. The area around was very nice, lots of dinning and shopping. It was also nice and quiet. I only thing that was an issue was the WiFi. I didn't connect to our laptop at all and connection was slow on the phones. "

"It does look a little tired on the outside, but the room was clean and bathroom updated. The bedroom furnishings could likewise use an update, but not bad. Despite their artist no smoking policy, the rom smelled a little like someone smoked in it. They have a nice outdoor park like setting and pool(it was closed for winter) The breakfast had a nice variety of options so that was good. "

in the area. Its clean, well located, close to shopping restaurants and the Metro and the rooms had undergone a pretty significant renovation in recent years, so we think they are in great shape. Unfortunately on this visit, the elevator was out of service and we only found one working ice machine. So if you need an elevator, I would make sure you confirm its been repaired before making a reservation. "
