Parwa Guest House

Qosqo Ayllu

10/10 Exceptional

This is fantastic hotel. We had a double room with shared bathroom and view of the mountain and Inca ruins of Ollantaytambo. The owner is very helpful with directions and arranging rides. The breakfast is abundant and healthy. Some info for travelers which I discovered while being there: Ollantaytambo is the coziest village I have visited. There are plenty or restaurants downtown, and many Inca ruins to visit within a small radius. It is also the start of a 3-5 day Inca trail to Machu Picchu....

Lizzy Wasi Urubamba

Urubamba

10/10 Exceptional

Hotel Lizzy Wasi sits behind a nondescript wall in a skinny alleyway in Urubamba, but once you walk through the door, a whole new world opens up. Gorgeous gardens and the smell of fragrant jasmine await you. Run by US expat Lizzy, Hotel Lizzy Wasi was the perfect place for our family. Our stay here was a last-minute decision because of a flight delay, and we couldn't have been more pleased. We arrived at 9:30 at night from Cusco, our nerves frazzled from a miserable 24 hours of travel delays...

Hotel Lilium Valley Ollantaytambo

Ollantaytambo Plaza

We had a wonderful stay at Lilium Valley! The rooms were always clean, and the hospitality from the entire staff was exceptional. Every day we were welcomed with a delicious cup of tea, and the staff was always happy to help us arrange transportation and answer any questions we had. Our room was cleaned daily, and everything was well maintained throughout our stay. Breakfast was included with our reservation, and it was excellent. The food was fresh, and they prepared our eggs exactly the way...

Intitambo Hotel

Qosqo Ayllu

10/10 Exceptional

This is a great hotel tucked in the upper heart of Ollantaytaytambo. Traditional stone building with communal rooftop terrace that has breathtaking mountain and ruin views. The main woman who runs it makes you feel at home with her warmth and great restaurant recommendations (picolos for the traditional pizza). The room has a nice bathroom, clean comfortable beds, directv and decent WiFi. Definitely worth the price for staying close to macchu picchu train station in an impressive town of its...

Tierra Viva Ollantaytambo

Ollantaytambo Plaza

10/10 Exceptional

We had a wonderful stay at Tierra Viva Ollantaytambo! The service was excellent, and the staff members were friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout our visit. The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable, making it a great place to relax after a long day of exploring. The breakfast buffet offered a decent selection of food, although replenishing items and turning over tables could have been a little quicker during busy periods. Overall, a very pleasant experience with outstanding...

Sauce Hotel Boutique

Right in the center of town, we got up in the morning (they actually packed up aTakeaway breakfast for us) and walked four blocks to the train. They were actually very helpful the next day when it turned out, our agent had not planned for our return to Cusco so we got back to the hotel and they called a friend who got us a taxi. We were pretty tired. They went above and beyond. I’d recommend this place to anybody going to MP

Casa de la Chola

Urubamba

Where to begin! Immediately upon arriving we were greeted by the hotel owners at the door! They were welcoming and helped us with our bags to our rooms. The rooms were clean, big and comfortable. The common area and the patio were my husbands and I, favorite places in the hotel! The patio area is surrounded by glass where you can enjoy the spectacular view of the heart of the sacred valley and have your (free) breakfast every morning. We would definitely come back and we recommend this to...

Hotel Tierra Inka Sacred Valley

San Isidro

10/10 Exceptional

This intimate hotel was just the ticket for this town. Beautifully manicured courtyard, free parking and rooms made for families. As of October 2024, the bridge through the center of town is out, but it looks like it will be restored soon. We received excellent customer service from the staff, especially Alex. They took a genuine interest in ensuring our time in the Inka sacred valley was pleasant and that we got the most out of our brief time there.
