We stayed at this property on our way to and from Machu Picchu, and it was an excellent choice. The hotel offers stunning views of the Ollantaytambo ruins, making the stay even more memorable. The location is one of the best in Ollantaytambo, with plenty of great restaurants within walking distance. Taxis and tuk-tuks are readily available, and the train station is just a 7-minute walk away or a quick tuk-tuk ride. The staff were warm and helpful throughout our stay. The breakfast was generous, and they even packed breakfast for us because we had an early train to catch, which was a thoughtful touch. Overall, this hotel offers outstanding value for money and is a great base for anyone visiting Machu Picchu.

Great location. Within a short ride to train station. Walk 2 minutes to central plaza. Great views of ollataytambo ruins from our window and a quick 5 minute walk to the entrance. Fresh fruit and omelettes. Nice they also had an onsite restaurant but we didn’t get to try it

Right from the start, we were greeted amazingly! The property itself looks beautiful and clean. We had great and simple breakfasts and amazing mountains view. The staff/family will ask if you would like eggs and they make to your liking. Some friendly cats were roaming around too. It really was a pleasant experience.

We stayed 1 night after Machu. It’s a solid little hotel. Excellent location and nice room. The view outside the window was of the Fortress! Very cool! There was complementary water bottles, a hot pot and various teas in the room, which was nice. My sheets were crisp and clean but my daughter said hers were not? The beds were very comfortable. We slept with the window open and it was perfect weather. The water situation was interesting. We had to put the knobs in a precise alignment for the water to turn off completely and there was NO WATER for part of the day. The manager said it would be back on at 5:00. It seems like it’s a common occurrence. It worked out fine because we were gone from the room and it was back on when we returned. The breakfast was the usual fair. The bread everywhere in Peru is amazing. The cook made an omelette with onions at our request and it was fantastic! They were kind enough to store our luggage. Overall good experience.

Breakfast was adequate. The property was clean. We arrived back around 11pm from Machu Picchu and the entire property was locked and all the lights were turned off. It took us about 10-15 min. to find someone to let us in.
