The hotel is family owned and the staff very friendly and trying to help with everything we needed. I think it has also be recently remodeled. I was traveling with my wife and my parents and our two rooms were facing the sea with a great view. The hotel also had a restaurant and the seafood was excellent. We also enjoyed the beach very much as it was not crowded and I wish we stayed there longer. One of our best experiences in our trip to Croatia

My family stayed one night on our drive down from Zadar to Dubrovnik. The hotel was clean and new. The beach and pool were both clean and not too busy. Dinner in the on-site restaurant was good. At breakfast, our kids loved the automatic pancake machine. The location was also nice and quiet, if a bit hard to find. The Puteaus Palace is hands down the most incredible place my husband and I have ever stayed! We made a visit for our honeymoon this year and the architectural details, landscape design, staff, food, rooms and amenities are impeccable! We never wanted to leave and considered cancelling the rest of our trip to extend for several more weeks. Sadly, the COVID pandemic has forced them to close early this year but as soon as they reopen next year I would run to this absolutely incredible hotel....

Hidden gem in a sea of options. A bit of a hilly walk down to the beach but after eating your weight in beach gelato-it’s a welcome jaunt to get steps in and burn off the calories. The area is a bit busy but we liked the location to get to other less crowded beaches. Breakfast was absolutely amazing-I will miss it terribly and will not be able to stomach DIY waffle makers and stale tasteless pastries in US hotels. Staff was helpful and extremely attentive.

We just spent our (too) short break in Villa Mediterranea and it was superb. Location 10/10. Quality of the new top floor is 10/10, and soft king size beds (with memory foam layer) were my favorite part. Bathrooms are very modern & very clean and the whole Villa Is highly mantained. The owners Diana & Tom are super nice and handy. One thing they may think of is to open a cocktail bar at the pool, it would be just great....

This is a family business. The staffs were very nice, friendly and very helpful. The hotel picked me up and drove me to the bus station, which was very helpful. The location and the view of the hotel are unbeateble, both the river and of course the sea view. 5-10 min walking along the river to reach the sandbeach. The view of the canyons from the beach/ocean ist unbelievable. Very quite location. I am planning to come back and to stay at the Hotel Villa Dvor again.
