Booked this on a short notice. The image in the ad implies that the property is right on the beach. It is not. I don't even think you can see it in the photo. The owner was very nice. It is a little tricky to get in and out of parking with your car as the entrance requires you to make a u-turn ( unsafe) if you do not follow the Google Maps directions. The property is on the hill and has nice views of the ocean as long as your room faces that way. bedding was average. The AC works! My room deadbolt did not properly lock, but the door latch was fine. The first night, the room nect door must have entered and exited 20 times during the night which sounded like someone was trying to open my door. Once I confirmed that was not the case, I was able to sleep. Nice kitchenette and room layout. Bathroom was clean and nice. I would have liked to have access to a beach towel, but none was offered. There was no indication of WIFI access, but I got by with my hotspot. Breakfast was typical European fair. Good coffee, eggs, meats and local breads! I all, I would recommend this property and would consider staying again.

Lovely location with a great view of the sea. The lady who showed us to our room was fantastic and very helpfull. Bus stop right outside the property for split or in the other direction Omis. Far better than staying at a hotel in the area, restaurants shops and bars all within a few minutes walk. I highly recommend this property for your stay. Stayed for 3 nights and can not fault the place at all.

Overall a great hotel and helpful staff. Pros: clean, modern, lots of amenities. Excellent beach across the street. Has parking. We really enjoyed our stay. Cons: it is about15-20 min drive to Split, but in the morning it took us over an hour to reach Split. This is due to only 1 road that crosses the river and its lights flash amber (no traffic control). This was consistent over the 3 days we passed by the area. Also, turning into the property is difficult depending on which way you arrive, but this is minor. Google maps will take you through a longer but better route. Laundry service is 15 euros

We had a great stay at Smartstay Johnny. The host was very organized, professional, and easy to communicate with. The room was clean, modern, and in a great location directly across from the beach, with a few restaurants nearby. It's also only a 20-minute drive to Split. One thing to note is that Expedia listed laundry service as an amenity, but it wasn't available during our stay. Overall, we really enjoyed our visit and would happily stay here again.

Special thank you to Dina. Wonderfull person!! Good appartement but to go to the beach there's a road to cross that i find dangerous for children. The beach is a "urban" beach with a lot people, restaurant, ect... but the landscape is very beautiful and people nice. Even so very pleasant place ! to go to Split there is only one road where there is a lot of traffic... have to be patient... My childen and I we loved excursion! Croatie is a Wonderfull Country!!
