Hidden gem in a sea of options. A bit of a hilly walk down to the beach but after eating your weight in beach gelato-it’s a welcome jaunt to get steps in and burn off the calories. The area is a bit busy but we liked the location to get to other less crowded beaches. Breakfast was absolutely amazing-I will miss it terribly and will not be able to stomach DIY waffle makers and stale tasteless pastries in US hotels. Staff was helpful and extremely attentive.

This was a great find. Not far off the highway. The staff were excellent. Friendly and so helpful. Hotel was very clean. We choose a room with sea view and balcony. It was very nice super clean. The bed and pillows were comfortable. We had a car so parking important. It was easy and cost 5€ a night. Lots of restaurants near by. Down the hill. Would definitely stay here again.

We stayed 2 nights in the penthouse suite (June 2026). Parking is hit or miss...there are 4 spaces next to the hotel, otherwise you have to park down the side, hugging the wall, or on the border of some scrubland - this seems to be the norm for the area. There was no charge for parking. A lovely warm welcome from the lady on reception (sorry I didn't note your name). Our room had amazing views over the city and ocean and were modern & clean. On arrival the air conditioning wasn't working in the main living area but this was swiftly attended to. Kitchen was useful and we cooked on both evenings so as to enjoy the large terrace which had plenty of outdoor seating and sun loungers. We set the hot tub water temp to 35c which was perfect (outdoor air temp was around 29c) and made good use of it. Just a few mins walk downhill to the promenade with lots of bars and restaurants. Easy flat walk to Makarska centre and a very picturesque walk around the headland. Breakfast offerings were a little disappointing - the coffee machine was downright awful (a grey sludge) so on the 2nd day I paid a little extra for a proper coffee, which was lovely. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Our only wish was that we had booked a longer stay!

We (2 adults 2 teenagers) just came back from an absolutely amazing vacation in Makarska riviera and the fantastic Antonio hotel where we spent 5 nights. Hotel staff are so accomodating, friendly and sweet. From taking good care of us during check-in (providing us with lovely complementary snacks) to helping out with taxi reservations and bringing home cooked options for breakfast. We would love to come back next year! Only downside is the tough hill to climb from the beach - challenging on hot days! Also, it would be great to have some snacks, ice cream and drinks to purchase during day and night time at the hotel. But again, really fantastic place and lovely staff!

Modern hotel with gorgeous view

Stayed in the excellent penthouse suite with spacious balcony and hot tub, gorgeous views. Hotel is modern, fresh, and clean. A few quirks of things not working perfectly in room (A/C, coffee maker, doors not closing). Hotel staff helpful but not particularly friendly or welcoming. It's a bit of a hike down the hill and back from the beach area.

Overall stay was somewhat ok. The property is new and in a great condition. Breakfast was excellent and staff was overall nice. The small swimming pool was mostly used for young kids, who were happy to escape the summer heat. One should note that the property is located at a top of a steep hill and the climb from the beach/promenade requires some physical stamina. As for the room, it was nice and clean, however, the sofa bed was the worst we ever slept on; it was hard, excessively noisy and uneven. Lastly, for the first two days of our stay, our AC was not working (in-room temperature was 25-26c) and we literally couldn’t sleep as a result of the heat in the room. The receptionist promised to relocate us to a different room, yet backtracked of her promise after consulting with her manager. Considering the outdoor temperature was almost reaching 40c, the fact that the hotel manager was not willing to resolve our AC issue in a timely matter, made us feel not welcomed (it was eventually fixed on our last day).

Nydelig hotell med pent rom og veldig god frokost! Rommet er pent, framstår som nytt og har et stort og fint bad. Hele hotellet framstår egentlig som ganske nytt. Kjempegod frokost med skinke, spekeskinke, salami, oster, et utvalg brød, syltetøy, yoghurt, diverse bakevarer som muffins, croissanter og donuts, frokostblandinger, deilig frukt og oppskjært melon, ulike salater (forskjellig fra dag til dag) og et utvalg varmmat som varierte fra dag til dag. I tillegg kunne vi bestille speilegg, eggerøre, pannekaker og omelett fra kjøkkenet. Bassenger var akkurat passe stort for oss, og det var veldig rolig der. For å komme til stranda, går man ned en bakke og er framme på 5 min. Helt utmerket! I kjelleren er det et treningsrom som fungerer kjempefint. Betjeningen er veldig hjelpsomme! Flyet vårt gikk sent på kvelden, men vi fikk være ved bassenget hele dagen og de lånte oss håndklær og lot oss dusje i garderobene nede før vi skulle dra. Kommer gjerne tilbake!

Koselig og velholdt lite hotell med god beliggenhet. Rolige omgivelser uten noe støy kveld og natt. Vi hadde et meget fint opphold på 9 døgn med to voksne og to barn. Personalet er svært hyggelige og hjelpsomme. Nydelig frokost med greit utvalg. Koselig lite basseng hvor barna kunne ha det gøy mens vi voksne slappet av i baren rett ved siden av. Et lite stykke til stranden, men ikke for langt så lenge man tåler å gå et par minutter.
