"This boutique hotel was built in 1856, has most of the original character but with modern ensuite bathrooms installed in the spacious rooms. It is located within easy walking distance (with luggage) from the Poschiavo train station and right on the lovely town square. Our welcome was warm and friendly. "Hotel Albana was an excellent hotel and I was very pleased with my stay. The hotel has great amenities including the restaurant, foyer bar and lounge, and the spa which was modern, very clean and included a dry sauna, steam room, outdoor cedar hot tub, and a cold plunge. The rooms were immaculate, very clean, and very comfortable, and had large outdoor terrace space. Silvaplana is a nice alternative to the hustle and bustle of St. Moritz has incredible options for Nordic skiing

"The room was nicer than pictures online which is always a nice bonus. The check in was seamless and the staff checking us in were extremely friendly and helpful. The surrounding area is very quiet but is close enough to surrounding attractions that you can walk to or hop on a bus. The restaurant for the hotel does AMAZING pizza I would definitely recommend! Overall a nice hotel that I would return to. "

"Wonderful hotel to stay at in St. Moritz. It is on the edge of the city, but honestly the city is not that big. It is about a 20 minute walk from the train station (or you could take the public bus). The staff were very friendly. The hotel restaurant was very good, although the "dinner" times were a bit confusing. Dinner goes from 7-9pm. But we couldnt figure out if we were supposed to be at the table at 7 or could arrive later. The town is quiet in the summer and dining options were not...
