This is a family business. The staffs were very nice, friendly and very helpful. The hotel picked me up and drove me to the bus station, which was very helpful. The location and the view of the hotel are unbeateble, both the river and of course the sea view. 5-10 min walking along the river to reach the sandbeach. The view of the canyons from the beach/ocean ist unbelievable. Very quite location. I am planning to come back and to stay at the Hotel Villa Dvor again.

One of the best hotel stays ever. From staff, to property and amenities, everything was 5 stars. Room was cleaned every day, breakfast had a variety of foods, many healthy choices, tasty and tastefully presented. The beach is amazing, with beach chairs and umbrellas available for rent. I would highly recommend it!

The hotel is family owned and the staff very friendly and trying to help with everything we needed. I think it has also be recently remodeled. I was traveling with my wife and my parents and our two rooms were facing the sea with a great view. The hotel also had a restaurant and the seafood was excellent. We also enjoyed the beach very much as it was not crowded and I wish we stayed there longer. One of our best experiences in our trip to Croatia

Was a bit concerned with checkout where the proprietor said that the Hotel does not take credit card and I must pay cash (mentioning a nearby ATM). I said to proprietor I was worried about ATM hacking (by skimmer) and using foreign ATM's may have other risks. Proprietor kindly said I could pay by sending Euros to his wife's iban bank account, so doing that option. The Puteaus Palace is hands down the most incredible place my husband and I have ever stayed! We made a visit for our honeymoon this year and the architectural details, landscape design, staff, food, rooms and amenities are impeccable! We never wanted to leave and considered cancelling the rest of our trip to extend for several more weeks. Sadly, the COVID pandemic has forced them to close early this year but as soon as they reopen next year I would run to this absolutely incredible hotel....

Great experience. Room was super spacious and clean. Front desk was also very friendly and helpful. Only con is that there isn’t many options to eat nearby but the beach is a short walk

A beautiful resort with luxurious accommodations. We splurged for the sea view room which was worth every penny - the room and balcony were spacious with stunning views of the property, sea, and sunsets. The pool bar service was slow, but drinks were reasonably priced. We were able to get comfortable accommodations on the beach and by the pool. We wish we could have stayed longer than 1 night!!

The room was VERY nice. Recently redone with a great big shower. Very clean and roomy. Great location convenient to everything. Easy walk to the port and main road. Highly recommend this property. Marina was great.

I NEVER write reviews but felt I had to write one for this new family-run hotel. What a delightful experience! My father has Parkinson's Disease, and this will probably be his last trip abroad. I had to find a hotel that could accommodate his disability (he has to use a walker). You won't find a better place to stay in Split. They were all so welcoming and gave us some welcome grappa as well as detailed information of restaurants and activities. It was close, walking distance if able, but...

Location was pretty good if you want to go to the beach. Not very easy to get to things without a car. Staff was friendly and hotel was clean.

This was a lovely little treasure, very near the old town of Split. We loved the cleanliness, charm, breakfast, etc. The only drawbacks were that it was very difficult to find it with GPS (we also had a car to park- parking was free but streets are challenging to navigate) & lugging our luggage up & down the stairs (both inside & out)… but it is to be expected in Europe!

I will run out of superlatives to describe how well we were treated during our stay in this very lovely hotel. The hotel was right smack in the middle of the best plaza by the Palace. We were picked up by Mario from the airport and he also brought us to the airport when we left — and I cannot appreciate enough the fact the he walked so far just so that he can carry our bags for us, especially since I have elderly parents. If you’re going to visit Split, you should consider just one place to stay. This place has it all. Location, great service, nearby parking, stunning views, and a staff that is beyond. Jan was a perfect tour guide and host. Ana was always there with great directions and a smile. The breakfast was lovely and ample. If I could give it 6 stars I would.
