This was genuinely the most incredible stay. The hosts were so incredibly hospitable, the place was absolutely breathtaking, and the whole experience was so serene and lovely! We had a fantastic meal cooked freshly for us with authentic local cuisine, drinks on the terrace overlooking the mountains, and hospitality that is rare to find these days! I can’t recommend this stay enough.

We loved our stay at Villa Gelsomino. From the gorgeous room and bathroom to the shared sea-view balcony, our 3-night stay felt like we were at a friend's home. The staff are phenomenal and helpful in every manner. A wonderful experience, and we will be going back!
We could not have asked for a better place to stay. The host was so incredibly hospitable, generous, and kind. He gave some fantastic recommendations for local sites that we otherwise may have never seen. The room was clean, cozy, and had plenty of amenities. Breakfast was delicious, and the view was even better. He even went the extra mile to pack us a lunch with our breakfast leftovers to take with us on the road. I can’t recommend this B&B enough!
What a unique property! We loved the character of the palace. The decor was really cool. The staff was excellent, great food and cocktails. I enjoyed the Vespar in the bar. Much better to stay here than in or closer to Porto Fino.
What a wonderful reception! The owner is so kind and friendly. We really enjoyed our stay. Our room was clean, comfortable and with working air-conditioning. Breakfast was copious and well thought out. The walk into town is interesting and easy. Then drinks and dinner on the beach. Perfect.

Hotel staff was amazing and friendly, so kind and nice. This hotel is an old mansion, there are only about 16 rooms, directly overlooking the walkway that is on the water and overlooking the ocean. Our room had a patio looking out at the ocean, with a hot tube, we slept with the doors open and the sound of waves all night long. My wife and I stayed at the Hotel Astoria for 6 nights in March. Overall, it is one of the very best hotels I have stayed in over many years of traveling -- solid, classy, very well-located building; comfortable room with a view of the Bay of Tigullio; a bounteous, tasty breakfast; and perhaps most important, hands-on, fully engaged hotel owners and employees who really care for their guests' comfort and enjoyment of the many attractions of Rapallo and the Ligurian coast.
My friends and I loved staying at Hotel Vesuvio. It's just a five minute walk to the train station to enjoy all of Cinque Terra and the ferry stop to go to Portofino and Santa Margarita was across the street. There are plenty of restaurants, some cool 11th century ruins, and a daily farmers market all within walking distance. We has a "family suite" with a balcony overlooking beautiful harbor.
