Hotel Cavour is a great place to stay in Rapallo. It is within a 1-2 minute walk from the boardwalk and the ferry. The breakfast is delicious. Giovanna, at the front desk, was what really made the stay stand out. She was very pleasant and provided great insight on how to spend your day if you’re running short on ideas!

It would have been nice to have a kettle in the room and the bed was quite hard. We went for breakfast quite late but within the scheduled time and there was not much left. Stylish and Centrally Located, but Parking Mislead

We stayed two nights at Hotel Cavour in Florence and had a very pleasant experience overall. The building itself exudes classic Italian elegance, and the hotel’s modern, stylish interiors impressed us. From the reception to our room, everything was thoughtfully designed with tasteful furniture and décor. Our room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and had a warm, inviting bathroom that added to our comfort. The location was fantastic—right in the city center, making it easy to explore Florence’s main attractions on foot. While we were very happy with the hotel and would recommend it, there was one downside: the parking situation. Hotel.com let hotels list that they have ”parking available”, which we assumed meant a private parking spot at the hotel. Instead, we were directed to use street parking or a nearby garage, costing us €30 per day. This was disappointing and felt misleading, especially since other hotels we’ve chosen with parking included onsite, free options. Listing parking as “available” when it simply means directing guests to expensive external garages feels unfair. Aside from this issue, Hotel Cavour is a beautiful, comfortable place to stay in Florence. If parking is not a concern for you, it’s an excellent choice!
