The setting of this hotel is excellent and less than 30 min away from Bern. Its very peaceful at night and the people warm, hospitable and so kind. We took our 5 month baby there and genuinely enjoyed our stay. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone who visits Bern or simply wants to get away for arms peaceful time. Congratulations to all the people of the hotel. Great job! We walked outside in the beautiful open park and enjoyed watching the cows from the nearby meadow.
The property appears to be brand new, modern, and comfortable. The staff is very nice and helpful. It is not walkable from the railway station or from the town of Thun but there is a convenient bus that ends in a station opposite the hotel. It takes about 10-12 minutes on that bus to arrive from the railway station.
We were an extended family of 7 and loved our stay here! What a beautiful location and the travel pass during our stay made for one of our favorite days during our vacation. Depending on which way you get there, the drive from Brienz is not for the faint hearted. That said, the scenery was amazing. The location of the hotel is very convenient, right between the bus stops of both ways Thun and Interlaken. We love to have breakfast very morning next to the beautiful lake of Thunersee. Location of the hotel is amazing beautiful.

We loved our stay here. The room is nice and we really love the fully functioning kitchen. We also loved the location, just few steps from the train station. The price was very reasonable too. Just the only weird thing about it is the bathroom. It’s transparent, so when you take a shower or use the toilet, the other person could see you. Not a big deal for me cause im with my husband but for others it might not okay.
Amazing service and beautiful hotel! We loved the views from our 3 large windows with views from every angle. The included breakfast was delicious with many hot item choices as well as a buffet with various breads, fruits, cereals and yogurts. I enjoyed the cappuccino and my husband loved the hot chocolate. Rooms were superb with many included amenities. Free parking on the street was limited but a nice perk. Just a few steps from the bus stop and very walkable in the old-town of Burgdorf. Will definitely return!
Hotel was walking distance to the city and shopping. For those not inclined to walk the hotel provided tram tickets for the duration of the stay! The hotel also had a great continental breakfast and the staff was EXCELLENT! Very friendly, accommodating and very informative- also spoke excellent English which was a bonus! First I must say this was not my first choice. I usually book the 'day of' when I arrive in a city, but this time, there was nothing reasonably priced so I found this place. I was at first a bit disappointed that I was not in the city center BUT it turns out it was a 4 stop bus ride which was about 6 minutes to get to the main train station.
