This was our second time staying at Hotel Berchtold and we really enjoyed it. Love the car elevator for parking our car. The breakfast bar was plentiful and you are served your beverage. In the evening we sat at the bar had and enjoyed a couple espresso martinis! Walkable to local train station and shops near by.

Always a fabulous stay at the Berchtold. Super covenient to public transportation, clean, nice rooms, great staff, and great food. If you are there at the holiday season, try to get a reservation in to the Raclette chalet as early as possible since it books up really quickly! The Berchtold is our go-to hotel any time we are in Burgdorf or the Bern region.

Very complicated centrally located hotel

It was my third stay in this hotel and I like it a lot. Spacious single room, very comfortable bed. Nice bar and restaurant onsite. Very close to the train station, shops and other restaurants. Special thanks for the reception who let me stay one hour longer :-). My only concern is that the windows are not isolating very well the sound coming from the street and it can be disturbing in the late evening.

Convenient and pleasant

The location was close to the train station yet without any noise from it. If not dining at Hotel Berchtold it is also located within walking distance of really nice restaurants. The breakfast offered crispy fresh bread and a good assortment cheese, cold cuts and marmalade. Great coffee.

We just stay for 1 night, room is big and clean, staff are nice and helpful, breakfast are good too, like the area outside have a drink, just 2 things not convenient as the plug in the room didn’t fit my adaptor so I cannot charge my phone, also after shower, water on the floor as the glass not big enough to cover the whole bathtub. Overall is good

Fas Uimmer war sauber, aber unbequem, auf der Schreibtiscjtjeke stand ein TV, kein Stuhl uim daran zu sitzenen, sondern ein Sessel. Badezimmer, es fehlte ein beleuchter Rasier-/Schminkspiegel, keine Abblage für Beauticase. Bedienung überlastet, jedoch sehr freundlich und guter Service auch an der Bar. Super bestuhlte Freiluft Terrasse vor dem Speisesaal. Kein ygrund um nicht Wiederzukommen. Personal sei überall rar😅

Alles Bestens

Wir buchten das Hotel für eine Nacht (Sa/So). Sowohl die Zimmer wie auch die Badezimmer sind gross und haben alles was man benötigt. Das Frühstück biett einen grosse Auswahl und ist im Zimmerpreis inbegriffen. Infolge der zentralen Lage (ca 100 m vom Bahnhof) ist die Bar auch von Einheimischen frequentiert. Das gleiche gilt für das Restaurant B5 welches sich im gleichen Haus befindet.
