The romantic city of Rio Hato is full of attractions, such as Playa Blanca and La Casa de Lourdes Outdoor Spa, and is loved for its beaches and entertainment.
Want to top up your tan? Head out to Playa Blanca— one of the most popular seaside spots located 2.4 mi (3.9 km) from central Rio Hato. If you want to continue walking by the waves, head to Farallón Beach and Santa Clara Beach.
If you want to give your credit card some exercise, head out to Multiplaza Pacific Mall in San Francisco. Splash some more cash at Avenida Balboa, Multicentro Panama, and Pacific Center.
You can find the perfect gifts to bring home at Avenida Balboa during your trip to Panama City. While you're in the area, wander around the natural setting.
If a restful vacation is part of your travel plans, Farallón Beach might be the perfect place to seek out during your trip to El Farallón del Chirú. While you're here, you can savor the top-notch restaurants.
"The room was very large and well designed except the lighting in the bedroom area was completely lacking, just one small desk light and a small light over each bed, I had to use a flash light to pack and unpack. The other concern is the significant finger pinch hazard when opening and closing the sliding door to the bathroom, the metal handle will smash your fingers when fully opening or closing the door if not careful. The Red (something) restaurant was good, but I did not appreciate the staff pushing us to use a QR code to see the menu, they eventually brought us a paper menu but said it was incomplete. Shows a lack of respect for older guests who have a hard time reading a menu on a phone."
"Unfortunately, this stay was a huge disappointment. We visit Panama frequently to see family and friends and usually choose El Cangrejo as our favorite neighborhood. Hotel El Principe used to be one of our top choices, but after this experience, that is no longer the case.
The issues began at check-in, which was incredibly slow. However, the real problem started when we finally reached our assigned room: there were already people staying in it. While the staff moved us to another room quickly, it was an alarming breach of privacy and safety.
The 'cherry on top' was the complete lack of building security. After stopping at a nearby shop, we were followed directly into the hotel elevator by individuals who were clearly not guests. We then witnessed them meeting other patrons in the hallways for what appeared to be solicitation or short-term 'visits.'
It is very obvious that the hotel does not monitor who is entering the building or accessing guest floors. As regular travelers to the city, we felt quite unsafe. Between the room assignment error and the 'revolving door' for non-guests, we can no longer recommend this hotel."
"Friendly staff from the front desk attendants, to the restaurant staff to the housekeeping. Even with the language barriers. Everyone I encountered was pleasant and I appreciate it. Sufficient included breakfast buffet. Nice rooms. Housekeeping was good. Room was clean. Would stay again. "
