This is the nicest hotel in the city. Excellent and professional staff and management. All facilities are first rate -- excellent swimming pool and dining room. Extremely comfortable room with a huge and nicely appointed bathroom. First rate.

The Nepali culture intertwined with eminent hospitality at the Basera Boutique Hotel. I highly recommend this as the first hotel of your stay in Kathmandu, as you recover from jetlag. The streaming services on the TV will help you feel like you're at home, and there's a rooftop pool and restaurant with a complimentary cultural show so you don't have to leave the hotel to have some low-key fun and uniquely Nepali entertainment!

Everything about it is what you would expect at a Marriott anywhere else in the world except for the concierge staff. The excellent concierge staff certainly justified the 5th star.

Perfect location and great staff! We enjoyed the comfortable amenities- gym, pool, restaurant- and easy access to Thamel and surrounding area.

The stay was fantastic, mostly because of the staff. It felt like much more than just a hotel—it was like having a friend in a city I was visiting for the first time. The staff was always available and genuinely eager to help. They checked in to make sure I had slept well and asked if there was anything else I needed. Amazing!

Tiger Tops Elephant Camp was amazing. Walking through the jungle with the elephants and getting up. Lose and personal with them was an unforgettable experience. We saw rhinoceros on the Jeep Safari. I would highly recommend this experience.

Food taste could be improved. Otherwise it felt like Heaven in the clouds

We went to Chandragiri Hills for two nights in Oct 2024 in the hopes of seeing clear views of the Himalayas, and Mount Everest. We were not disappointed. The best time to see the mountains is early morning. With luck, it will be clear enough to see Annapurna and Mount Everest. We were lucky enough to see both. The property was nice, comfortable, and the restaurant had great food.
