Beach Hotels in Mauritius

We just spent a wonderful 5 nights at the Oberoi and loved every second. The rooms are large and luxurious with a private terrace and an especially nice bathtub big enough for 2. The water sports are gratis including a snorkel boat 3x a day that goes out to just past the reef very closeby. The snorkeling right off the beach is also nice and full of fish. My wife and I travel frequently and have been fortunate enough to visit multiple islands in Hawaii, the Caribbean as well as enjoy fine hotels all Europe and the US. Until now I have never been impressed or moved enough to even take the time to write a review. The staff at SALT of Palmar is undoubtedly the greatest we have ever encountered.

Pros: We loved the staff's friendliness, beach cleanliness, and ocean view. All staff members treated us kindly and were very inviting and welcoming at all times, especially Gesh who was always ensuring that we were satisfied at all levels and willing to take the extra mile to accommodate whatever needs we had. The staff was completely adorable and was looking after us all the time. We had a halfboard stay and all the food we tried was really nice! We went with a baby and everyone was helpful and pacient! We had a 10/10 experienceeeeeee

Stunning setting. Junior suite had three balconies. A bit distant from attractions on the island, but the locals said the weather was better in that part of the island.

I couldn't find out any demerit of Voile Bleue. Perfect place to rest and spend vacation. Beautiful seashore, kind people, exciting events, delicious food... I should be back in this cozy place again whenever I visit Mauritius.

Staff was very collaborative & helpful, good atmosphere. The pool is very nice and the breakfast delivered to the bedroom was a good change. No water bottles in the room & you only get complimentary coffee on the first day, need more space in the parking too but the stay there was very enjoyable.

My Husband and I had a wonderful 10 night stay. The resort is so beautiful and clean with 3 large pools and a beach.Food is really good with different theme nights.There is also a beach restaurant and burger van,all excellent.The biggest plus point is the staff at the resort,they go out of their way to make sure you a having a great holiday.Pravesh and Bholla and Ritesh where always around to make sure everything was fine. Fabulous location, amazing food, lovely room and amenities, relaxing atmosphere. Staff generally very friendly, very helpful and very hospitable (except the boathouse staff who were nonchalant and non engaging)

Great location, easy walk to the main street in Grand Baie. Very quiet and comfortable. Great little hotel. This property is small but it's very neat and clean. Owners are very friendly, helpful, lovely and easy going. Both English and French speaking… Great for us as we only spoke English. Price was very reasonable for location.. So much easier to be able to stroll to the restaurants, bars or beach. Say "Hi" to Chilli for me... :-)

The grounds are beautiful. The staff was excellent. We had a junior suite that had a plunge pool. It was perfect. The breakfast and dinner are buffet style if you have the half-board package. The Ravenala Attitude is the best all-inclusive resort that we've ever stayed at. The staff and management were attentive in every aspect of the property and services, including in the restaurants, on the beach, at the front desk, and in housekeeping. This is a fantastic resort. Everything is up to the highest Hilton standards. My only small complaint would be that it is a little out of walking distance from the Flic en Flac main area. The breakfast buffet was the best breakfast i have had in Mauritius.
