"Staff and service are 5/5. Extremely friendly, responsive and helpful.
Food is 4/5. Better than most all inclusives. Umi and Sizzle were both very good. Reef buffet was always good with lots of variety and daily themes. Colin's Bar was a good place for a mid day snack and/or drink. Bars could have had a better selection of international brands.
Resort is 3/5. Probably the area that could be most improved. Rooms are somewhat dated. Air conditioning could have been better with the humidity. Left bedding/clothing feeling a little damp. Shower water pressure could have been better but consistent with usual hotel pressure.
We had a great time overall. The feel here is more intimate than larger resorts and amenities not as varied as same. Overlooking some of the dated infrastructure, this is a 4/5 resort if you want it to be."

I was disappointed to see some trash by the pool and in the beach. Usually when we travel staff is always walking around cleaning. That wasn’t the case here. "

"We had a wonderful stay at the Waves resort and would definitely recommend it. The room was very clean, and the bed was extremely comfortable, which made it easy to relax and get a great night’s sleep. There was a good variety of food options, and everything we tried was enjoyable.
The spa was a highlight, truly a great experience and perfect for unwinding. We also appreciated the strong and reliable WiFi coverage throughout the property.
The staff were friendly and helpful across the board, but a special mention goes to Kevin, who took the time during the orientation day to clearly explain everything and make us feel right at home.
Overall, a great experience and a place we would happily return to."
