The people that run the B&B were great and made sure we were taken care of. We arrived pretty late at night but Gerry was right there to meet us at the front gate. Had 2 glasses of ice water waiting in our room. Enjoyed the breakfast and time just visiting with them.

I recently traveled to Barbados early June for my birthday. The hotel staff was very warm and friendly; they checked in on my friends and I daily and gave us great advice of places to visit, places to eat and booked a catamaran excursion for us that picked us up and dropped us off. Rosie at reception is amazing!! She was funny and sweet and even gave a a bottle of wine on my Birthday! My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this really cute apartment. Our apartment was #15, and it became our little home. The air conditioning and fan were welcome as the mornings in B'dos became warm quite quickly. The staff was very helpful and resolved our TV issues within minutes. Mrs. Brown is a sweetheart and made us feel very welcomed. The apartments are within minutes to a main road with restaurants, banks, super markets, and the beach and board walk.

After reading a few of the reviews on this site I was wary, but we had an 18-hour layover and needed a place to sleep. I figured, whatever, we can at least just sleep there. We LOVED it. The staff were so friendly, helpful, and accommodating; the room was spacious (the closet behind the bathroom door could have fit a small bedroom set !), clean, and very comfortable; the facilities were perfect for what we needed. This was my first trip to Barbados. I selected this hotel specifically for the design, decor and aesthetics.... and yes the hotel is as beautiful and vybesy as pictured. Like you walk up the stairs or pull your suitcase up the ramp and you enter this vibrant place of paradise. Friendly staff greeted me daily and at the time of check in I was greeted with a cold towel ( Barbados is hot af) and a welcome drink. Great location, always clean and safe, pleasant staff, great beach, walking distance to everything you need. The BEST restaurant in Barbados is a few steps away, CHAMPERS! My family and myself are regulars here. The on site restaurant is very good too.

Dorothy and Mel were absolutely wonderful! Apon arrival we were greeted with ice cold wash cloths, beers, water, 6 eggs, butter, bread and waters! We onlybstayed one night but the communication was super speedy and we had everything we needed!

The staff was wonderful, chef made delicious Bajan meals, very accommodating and pleasant stay…will definitely be back- thank you for a relaxing stress free birthday vacation!

Everything was PERFECT here. Don’t listen to negative reviews. I was worried, but I can’t wait to go back!

The walk to the beach is 4 minutes, the hotel was clean and very peaceful, and Andrea was extremely knowledgeable and accommodating!

My only critique is that they need four new beach chairs, preferably the Tommy Bahama chairs. They are light, comfortable, and sturdy. Other than that, it was great and thank you!

Well spent four days, very relaxing if you are looking for time away from the hustle. Will definitely be returning with the family.

Very small for a Fairmont but very nice property with all 72 rooms facing the sea. Everything you could want is on the property. Only challenge is that, for those who must roam, you must walk a bit to town, take a very convenient and inexpensive public bus, or taxi if you don't have a rental car. Staff was the most pleasant and accommodating I have ever encountered.

Totally underrated. No frills but that’s the fun part. If you just want an amazing place to stay off the beaten path especially with a family and have your own little kitchen this is the please

This resort made our trip. We stayed for a week in late September 2015 to celebrate a major birthday. The Colony Club upgraded our room (probably possible only because it was off-season), and started our vacation off right with delicious rum punches and a bottle of champagne.
