Hilton Barbados Resort
8/10 Good
"As a Hilton Gold member i have eaten at many Hiltons for breakfast. I must say the Hilton Barbados has the worst breakfast i have ever experienced.
The hot choices were cold and had no flavor.
There was nothing for breakfast that was authentic to Barbados. Very limited buffet and no variety of fruits.
The coffee was like colored water and also cold. No orange juice just blend of juice with no label. Absolutely unacceptable for a Hilton breakfast.
As breakfast was free for me as a Gold member i found a place about 10 mins away that had a great breakfast."
"The staff were friendly and helpful. The property is nice and the restaurant was convenient. It would be highly desirable to not allow other guests to take speaker phone calls in the dining room or to use portable speakers in the pool area. It distracts from the perfect environment."
The Club, Barbados Resort & Spa Adults Only - All Inclusive
6/10 Okay
"this was our fifth visit to barbados and i really did enjoy staying here! I would say it’s a solid 3.5 experience. the food is good/okay! for the price, i would say TOTALLY worth it. the location is awesome, walking distance into holetown and awesome swimming right off the resort. definitely not like top tier luxury living (we usually stay in private villas) but this was solid!"
Waves Resort & Spa, Barbados, An Autograph Collection® All-Inclusive Resort
4/10 Poor
"We recently stayed at Waves Hotel for four nights, and unfortunately, our experience did not meet our expectations.Upon arrival on May 16th, the room we received did not match what was on the website.
May 17th was my son's birthday, and we had requested room decorations to celebrate. While the staff did sing "Happy Birthday" that evening, the decorations were not provided.
On May 18th, we encountered a issue when our toilet overflowed, resulting in our room being covered in water. The maintenance team responded promptly and handled the cleanup efficiently. May 19th, my husband's birthday, and again, we requested room decorations and a birthday cake. Unfortunately, the cake was only delivered after I had to remind the staff multiple times.
Later that morning, we inquired about the water taxi service and were informed that there was a daily limit of six guests allowed to visit other all-inclusive resorts, a detail we were not made aware of upon check-in. It took nearly two hours for a supervisor to arrive to address our concerns. Thankfully, Stephon was able to resolve the issue with professionalism. However, my experience with Zoe, was disappointing. I noticed a lack of greeting when I approached the front desk, despite her welcoming a British Caucasian guest shortly after me. (Be careful who you mistreat. You never know who knows who and which guest isnt a guest 🙂)
Aside from this interaction, the majority of the staff were friendly and attentive. Lashaun and Keishann were"
