It was nice. The bed was uncomfortable and i asked them to replace a light bulb but they did not. The sheets and towels had stains on them. The staff was friendly and the grounds are beautiful. Room service wasn't good.
The staff is really friendly, the restaurant offers traditional meals from Veracruz and the breakfast buffet is a fantastic way to start the day, it includes great "antojitos" and freshly baked bread.
Our room was cozy, we were facing the Mercado de Artesanias, it was nice to see the palm trees and people enjoy their days.
The hotel is located next to a bus stop, so if you're willing to step out of your comfort zone you can ride different buses that bring you to different tourist destinations...
Every one of the staff was helpful and so friendly. I definitely look forward to my next trip to Boca del Rio and another stay here. I am learning Spanish and the staff did their best to speak to me in Spanish but a little slower so that I could understand and I appreciated that rather than switching to English.
Great location and welcoming staff. Hotel is within walking distance of many restaurants, as well as the artisan market/mercado artesanal, the puerto/the port, and the iconic La Parroquia cafe. The AC was great, the room space was great, I could work from the hotel, and there were 2 bottles of water which were a blessing in the heat. Check in was quick even though we checked in after 9:30pm.
This was one of the best hotels we have stayed at in Veracruz! We will definitely be back and will recomend them to all of our friends and family! The hotel is the perfect place for a romantic and relaxing place on the ocean.
The hotel is on a great location near two major malls, it does not have ocean view, but the location makes for it. You can walk to the malls but I would recommend taking a taxi as the weather will make you sweat a lot.
