Beautiful, seculded hilltop estate with great view and beautiful grounds. Nice pool. Hosts were warm and inviting and dinner of regional cuisine was good. Rooms are large and relatively sparse with minimal amenities, and beware there is no A/C. Breakfast was simple. They produce award winning olive oil available for purchase.
About 20 minutes drive outside of Gubbio and up a mountain, the Castello provides a unique hotel stay. Our room was in a building inside the walls. It was quite large with a very roomy bathroom with both large tub and separate shower. Beams, stone walls and wooden shutters contributed to the castle atmosphere. This is a lovely hotel close to the center of Perugia. The staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly. The room was immaculately clean. The view over the city and into the Umbrian countryside was lovely. We were very happy with everything the hotel had to offer.
We stayed a total of three nights. The rooms were large and comfortable! We were given an upgrade on the last night because it was my birthday. The location is excellent close to restaurants and the main piazza. Also close to the mini metro. We will be back
Amazing place to stay! It is the little things that make this place one of a kind: like two suitcase stands in the room. The service felt like they were full time career professionals that felt like they really cared about the place and the hospitality. Dinner and breakfast was amazing! We stayed at the Villa Raffaello Park for 3 nights. The staff was friendly, accommodating and very helpful. The hotel was an easy 15 minute drive to Assisi.
The family that owns this place was so helpful. None of them spoke English when I checked in, but we were able to figure it out with another guest who translated I could’ve used Google translate as well. The bed was extremely comfortable, and I had an amazing night sleep. The breakfast was great, and for a one night stay before my bike tour. This was perfect. It was quiet, cozy, and close to the start of my bike trip.

Really cute hotel above a restaurant. Make sure you check in at the restaurant as there is not lobby. Check in and out is at the restaurant. The hotel is modern but really nice inside. Breakfast was small but fine. The staff is nice. Location is great and close to the train station and main sights. To get to Assisi you walk to the train station and catch a bus. Make sure to get bus tickets at the kiosk across from the train station.
