Staff was amazing, rooms were clean and comfortable, and the location is very conveniently located near public transportation!

Initial room was very small so we upgraded to a larger room with was very sufficient. In town for the Gothia Cup soccer tournament, so location offered easy access to public transit. Breakfast was very good. Staff excellent. I would stay again. Very pleased overall.

Perfect location for exploring Gothenburg. We had two rooms for our family and they were very comfortable. The bathroom is quite tiny and getting in and out of the shower was a little challenging but the bedroom was a good size and had lots of storage for out stuff. The included breakfast is wonderful and was the highlight of our stay! Our daughter said the gym was "a real gym" with good equipment. This will be our new go-to when visiting family in Gothenburg.

We had a wonderful stay. The room was very comfortable, as was the bathroom, which had a retractable clothes line. Halfway through our trip, that was most welcome. Why don’t more hotels have those? Wonderful breakfast. Very helpful and informed staff. Great location. I would most definitely recommend the Avalon hotel.

This stay was superb in every way. The price was very reasonable, even cheap, for the value received. Dinner and breakfast were both quality meals, and the room and total facility was excellent. Best of all was the staff, from check-in to checkout.

I had a wonderful overnight stay at this hotel. The cleanliness really stood out—everything from the room to the common areas was spotless and well-maintained. The staff provided excellent service. It made my short stay incredibly comfortable and stress-free. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a clean, welcoming place with top-notch service.

This hotel is centrally located and lovely. Just about everything you could want is here with one exception. The hotels.com listing is a bit deceptive when it says they have laundry facilities. They offer laundry but you have to send it off and, as expected from thst kind of offering, it is EXPENSIVE. Other than tbat though, the staff were wonderful and always willing to help whenever possible. The room was clean and even had heated bathroom floors. This is now one of my favorite city hotels in the world. The property is creative and artistic, the rooms are nice, the staff is very friendly, and the food is terrific. Excellent location as well. It is the only place I would stay in Gothenburg.

I had an amazing stay at Hotel Draken, but the true highlight was the spa. Having a spa like this inside the hotel is an absolute gem and one of the biggest reasons I'd stay here again. The women working in the spa were exceptional. They made me feel welcomed, cared for, and completely pampered. The spa itself is beautiful. I loved the calming water wall, the sauna, the variety of pools, and the refreshing cold room. I also highly recommend the leg massage if you've been doing a lot of walking...

Besides having to make a reservation and pay to use the pool, it’s a very nice, convenient hotel.

Great hotel across from the train station. Ask the front desk for a room "not" on the tram side. Extremely loud all throughout the night.
