"Nice hotel, about 15-20 minutes walk from the train station or 2 stops of a bus. Helpful staff, nice large windows and a huge but a little narrow bathtub. Kettle in the room! And a comfy bed. One thing worth to mention is that there is not much sound isolation probably due to the age of the building but they do provide you ear plugs. Not a problem if you stay up late and wake up early. But you can hear your neighbors well."

Few restaurants within walking distance. We got free bus card to travel to both Wilderswil and Interlaken railway stations with easy reach to all attractions."

There are a few things that suggest hygiene and cleaning could be improved (e.g., silver fish in the bathroom), and the wait for coffee at breakfast was extraordinarily long.
