"Decided to splurge and stay for two nights at El Nido. It was absolutely beautiful and peaceful. It is in a very quiet spot (we did have to traverse a few big puddles to get there after the big flood the week before) but soooooo worth it. Although off the beaten path there were some accessible restaraunts a short walk up the beach.

"We spent a week at this property. Unfortunately rained most of the days there, but in general the property is well located and safe. This property is closer to Playa Cocos and a good walk to the main city (15-20 mins walk). It is about an hour walking to Playa Mosquito. The property is rustic (plain and simple). No major amenities, except a pool in the middle of the property, and a tiki bar that it is open throughout the day until after sunset, where you can get drinks while at the beach.
