"We stayed for 1 night before travelling to Busan the nest day. Hotel has a very convenient tunnel from Seoul station especially good during thunder showers. The room was high quality. Massive TV, bed, shower and bed high standard."
"We were very happy with this hotel. So hard to pick a hotel when are not familiar with the area so we were pleasantly surprised at how nice this hotel was. Clean, roomy, with fridge & tea pot. I really love that they cleaned the room daily and staff were super helpful. Definitely recommend."
"Love this hotel! Bed was super comfortable, plenty of space for luggage, bathroom was a lovely size with bathtub and all the things you needed in there! Would definitely stay again and very convenient next to Gongdeok station!"
"Very friendly staff! Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. Breakfast was excellent! I would highly recommend the hotel. It is also close to the train station."
"Two stars off for no hand soap in room and toilet lid not being snug enough leading to water coming out when flushing. Otherwise very comfortable bed and love the terrace."
"This was our 2nd year in a row that we chose Lotte City Hotel Myeongdong and we plan to choose it again next year. Clean rooms and property, friendly staff and convenient location are the reasons why we love this hotel."
"The hotel staff were very friendly and delivered a high level of customer service. The location was excellent for walking, access to bus and subway stations. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
If you haven’t been to Seoul or the east be prepared for a different type of breakfast at the hotel. They do have bacon, sausage and eggs but also cater to the Asian clientele. There are also so many great bakery and coffee shops within walking distance."

If you want to stretch your legs and breathe in some fresh mountain air, head out to Mt. Inwang for a bird's-eye view of Seoul. It's also full of great shops and restaurants, so you can spend the afternoon having a wander. Want to stretch your legs some more? Head to Seoullo 7017 and Gyeongui Line Forest Park, both nearby.
Seodaemun-gu is home to Korea SGI Seodaemun Cultural Center, so why not stop by during your stay in Seoul. If you have fun at Korea SGI Seodaemun Cultural Center, you'll love Sejong Cultural Center and Bukchon Traditional Culture Center, both located nearby.
This is my go-to place whenever I'm on a business trip to Seoul. I'm always impressed by the kindness of the staff, and the location is perfect — convenient for transportation and shopping. Best of all, there are plenty of great restaurants nearby
The property was great. Staff was wonderful. The breakfast had a good mixture of korean and american food. The only thing i didnt like was it said it was near seoul Station but was at saemundae station and was mutliple subway transfers away.
The location of this property cannot be beat - easy access to public transport, lots of restaurants, and shopping. Staff was great and rooms were well maintained. Appreciated having 4 twin beds...this is the first time we've each had our own bed, great sleep for all of us!
Hands down the best hotel I’ve stayed at in Korea so far. The location was very convenient, with plenty of restaurants nearby. The customer service was excellent, and the room was clean and well-equipped with everything I needed. 10/10 highly recommend!
The check-in staff was unattentive, not very hospitable and didn’t give us much information, just answered our questions. We asked for city view room, but our room was facing a back alley of a building.
Other than that, our stay was amazing. Our room was super clean, beds were very comfy, the cleaning ladies and staffs during breakfast were very friendly & attentive. The location was great too. Walking distance to many places.
Lovely stay. Very helpful staff excellent breakfast. Quiet.the location very central ,close many shops , restaurants and popular places to visit . Highly recommend for tourist or even business man . ...
Room we stayed is large and clean, staff are very friendly and always ready to help. Breakfast is good but pricey we only ate there once as there are plenty of options around the hotel. Very satisfied with our stay would recommend
We only stayed one night but the staff were very helpful so we could get to our next lodging location. The room was clean and big and the little touches made a big difference.
This hotel was in a wonderful location! It is close to the palaces, the park, convenient to the subway and busses. It is quieter than other locations we’ve stayed in Seoul. The staff was exceptionally helpful and responsive. I will definitely stay here again!
Very good hotel. It was close to many sights, access to transportation and shopping. Breakfast buffet was one of the best I’ve seen. Staff very polite and helpful.
Hotel was easy to get to by airport bus. Only about 8min walk from both pickup/drop off airport bus location. Close to two different train stations and close to two major neighborhoods. Easy and about 30 minute walk to Gyeongbokgung, King Sejong Statue, and Deoksugung palace. Staff were nice and helpful, especially with transportation questions.
Very nice hotel and in the middle of everything. Walking is good from each market and neighborhood.
Hotel rooms also have US 110v outlets as well as a plus!
Staff is really nice and attentive
This was the best hotel I've ever stayed at. It was conveniently located next to a train/subway station (access to 2 lines) which is accessible via the bridge walkway. There is also the Sinyongsan station across the street from that which gives you access to even more lines. There is a very nice convenience store on the 2nd floor of the Ibis hotel which is connected. The room was very modern, clean, and looked very new. The photos of the room are exactly how the room's condition was. It is...
