My accommodation was great and the view was breathtaking. I had a relaxing night at a beautiful property with excellent staff. Breakfast was also wonderful.
This place has a gorgeous view, great hosts and delicious breakfast. The room is basic but clean and it does not matter that there is no aircon as Ella is not as hot as other places. There is a big fan if necessary. The host went above and beyond for us and even got up really early to get down to the station and buy us train tickets. We recommend this place for a picturesque, great value stay.
Our stay at Te Dalu was exceptional. We loved that the hotel was located a little outside of Ella proper, which allowed for connection with the beautiful environment and scenery while still being convenient to the amenities of the main town. This property has such a beautiful view! It is clean, peaceful and safe. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. They respondedimmediately to any reques we had. One staff member got up with us at 3:30 in the morning to make sure we safely got on our way for a tour we had booked to Yala. I would stay here again and recommend it highly.

Incredible views from our room at Tunnel Top, overlooking the beautiful valley and the iconic train tracks! The room was spacious, very clean, and comfortable. We also loved that drinks were available for free throughout our stay.

Stunning views, especially of the waterfall. Spacious and clean room. Our balcony was extra large! They served a very delicious breakfast for a good price. We actually enjoyed it more than when we ate in town. The internet was a problem though, it did not work or was so slow it was unusable, but thankfully we had a hot spot to take video calls for work. Would definitely recommend as long as you don’t need internet.
Absolutely stunning property and surroundings! House and rooms are nice and clean but public spaces felt small for the 7 rooms (14 people). It is nice if you are happy to socialize and share space.

Small and cozy boutique hotel with 6 rooms. Staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful and made the stay an absolute delight. The lake view rooms are also amazing - the ones on the ground floor especially so as they have access to a little garden that was a great place to relax in the evening.
